Waiting for iPhone 5?

I'm waiting it out. I'll finally get the full upgrade price for the first time in 3 years.

Guess it depends just who you talk to. The rep I talked to said the program is off and on depending on new launches (I guess to get people to pay for the full price of the phone if they "need" to upgrade now). But they did offer it to me and I said no because I only have about 2 weeks left to wait.
 
My contract comes up for renewal in March. I have a 3GS ATM so not sure if I will wait. I am not gonna loose sleep over it though. If I get a 4S I will get a great phone and if I wait I will get a great phone whatever they call it. I do wish Apple were more open with their release dates even if it didn't announce the spec until nearer the launch day.

When I am eligible for an upgrade, I will go to the buyer's guide tab at the top of the screen, and depending on what Macrumors says, I will decide between buying the iPhone 12S or waiting for the iPhone 13

1. Not everyone is as poor as you - don't hate.
2. Not everyone shares the same values as you - some people love the look of 4 over the 3, and the design is worth the upgrade for them.
3. You're presumptuous - how you can judge people's characters based solely on their purchasing choice says a lot more about you than about others.

I think his post was meant tongue in cheek. Don't take it too seriously. It's about phones. I'm in the somewhat ridiculous group. Not completely untrue.:p
 
What is the earliest Apple have announced the next generation phone? Is it normally a couple of weeks before launch or sooner? I guess I am being optimistic hoping for news in March when my contract is up for renewal.
