This is incorrect. If by new Civ you mean Civilization VI, it requires a quad core CPU, so you'd need a 15".

So this could be the last 45W rMBP 15 with Iris pro graphics?
Quad core? Oh lord, that sounds ridiculous.
Gurman isn't an official source.Mark Gurman has tweeted it not exactly anonymous is it? It's been corroborated by multiple sources.
Besides there might not be any invites, they might live stream it. Nobody knows.
That's a serious exaggeration. My 2012 rMPB runs Cities: Skylines just fine. The 2016 model will be massively faster.
If the invites dont come out tomorrow, i'll probably die.
Yup, 0.99 euro a month.
128 GB. I don't do "work" work on the MBP. Some Photoshop, some InDesign, I've got music software on it but don't really use it as the Hackintosh is much more useful for that, but if I'm on the road it's handy to be able to do things. So my backups run back to... let me check... July. It's good enough for me.
The slots I use the most, in order:
1. SD
2. HDMI
3. Headphone jack
4. USB
Plus, of course, MagSafe which saved me countless times already, as I have all the grace of a drunken elephant.
Kool-aid anyone?
This is incorrect.
Civ 6 does not require a quad core.
And the 13" MBP will be able to play Civ 6 smoothly on low settings in boot camp.
It may even be able to do medium settings.
The Mac version requires a quad core, according to Aspyr's system requirements. It also doesn't support Metal. It might run OK on low, we'll see. But Bootcamp will probably be the way to go.
2.6 GHz i7 (Ivy Bridge), NVIDIA 650MDid you have a dGPU? And was it an Ivy Bridge i5?
This could just be a coincidence it does not imply or mean anything.
This is true. But someone in this forum know a guy who knows a guy who has Tim on LinkedIn and is certain there will be an event.

You know, I don't think there will be an invite. Not sure if this was pointed out before (sorry), but what if the FCPX Summit will be used to introduce the updated line? Note, on the schedule for FCPX on Friday October 28th at 3:30 - 4:30 is an "Update from Apple Product Team"

no
If no invites go out tomorrow or there is no press release by the end of the month, I think the entire mac community is going to implode.
