guys. I still don't think there will be new MacBook Pros this Thursday.
Yeah, I'm not on board with this. I mean the bezels are way smaller, I like the keyboard but it still looks ugly, possibly because of the oled bar which looks like a huge unibrow.

Me. The look of that keyboard has bummed me out in a big way. I'm a programmer I can't work on that keyboard from the MacBook. I'll be very disappointed if the key travel is the same.
That's what 9to5 Mac said but the keyboard would have to be huge in order for the ratio to make sense. So I don't believe it for a second

nerds jizzing all over the place ..... hoping to run ubuntu standalone and use oled display as a dedicated screen for it.

Wait till we see some better pictures of it. and that touch id bar isn't going to look ugly all the time. even if the apply pay thing is ugly
I will not at all be surprised if some people here don't buy it just because it says "MacBook Pro" on it. 
It's going to look much better when it's off for sure.
Its a notebook, what did people think it was going to look like?
Also it's had the same underlying look since 2008 and I didn't expect that to suddenly evaporate. I think this is a good cosmetic update. I just hope the new keyboard is decent. I've never really used a "butterfly" keyboard before so I don't really know what it's like.
God help us if the OLED and TouchID are limited to Apple only (ala TouchID when it was first implemented).
I don't understand why people hate the 'MacBook pro' branding ??
Well, generally getting rid of it was in the direction of "minimalism" which is what's in right now and to some that makes it look sleeker, cleaner, and less tacky. I couldn't give a rat's ass though. I agree with the criticism of the light up logo on the back, but I don't mind a few subtle words on the bezel.
