If it has the same key travel as the new wireless keyboard then I'm sold. However if it has the key travel of the rMB 12 (and yes, I own one), then I see this becoming a bit of a problem.

You do get used to the rMB keys, but the typing experience isn't as enjoyable as when I type on the wireless keyboard. And IMHO, the wireless keyboard is miles better than the apple magic keyboard/current MBA/MBP keyboard once you've typed on it for a few days. The larger keys more than make up for the key travel, which you don't even notice after a while.

Also we will have large arrow buttons now on the Pro models:

I am tired of silver guys. I want to mix it up so badly.

Now that we've seen that the screen bezel is black, I think I'll go all black. Not really into that two-tone look, and yes, it will make a nice change.

"We think our customers will love these latest innovations."

I would really love to hear them drop the PR speak for once.

"We're kinda uncertain if this is a good idea."
"The Magic Toolbar – welllll there's nothing magic about it really. But please buy."
"When we say Macbook Pro we mean like, you know, you're a professional social media person or something? You know, using Facebook more than average user."
"We think our customers will fill 1000s of pages on Macrumors forums with stories about how pissed off they are, but we don't care as long as they buy our products first."
...and...
"I read that Brits hope we lower our prices and I LOLed so hard. Margins bitches!"

dunno, i can't really tell if fake/mockup or what.
if it's real i need to find that "cameron" guy on post #14175 and ask for the next bingo extraction numbers.
so: or the leaked chassis was real, or also apple pr team members were using that leaked photo as a base model.
I can imagine something like:
prmanager: "hey you there! make a little splash screen for apple pay on macs!"
distractedtiffguy:"ok boss, but i don even know how te macs are going to be"
prmanager:"use your imagination!"
distractedtiffguy proceeds by searching on google images for 2016 macbook pro.

Honestly I can't really imagine a world without the esc key and the power button.
but for the latter everybody in here knows that there's an easy, practical and cheap solution: "from now on, your apple watch can power up your new mac!*"

*apple watch sold separately

anyway, don't like it from that render, let's wait and see how is going to be IRL.

It's not fake, guys. The images were embedded in the latest Sierra update. So Apple made a fake image of the new laptop to fool people? Even though it matches all the rumors so far and the leaked chassis?

Denial is really not just a river in Africa :p

That's what it's going to look like, you're going to pay $3000 for it, and you're going to love it. End of story.

Could someone help? Anyone with a rMB in front of them?

Was just doing some size calculations. Can't find the physical key size of a rMB keyboard so the only thing of reference on there is the 'MacBook Pro' logo (Or the screen itself). However using the logo, gives me a width of 335.5mm (Too wide), and a screen size of 14" instead of 13.3". Which seems unlikely...

Whereas using the screen as the measurement (13.3"), shows it to be 382mm wide. So maybe something's up there?

Obviously image is pretty out and difficult to get any accurate measurements from. So don't take anything there seriously.

At this point I think that's the biggest question: Are the images depicting the 13" or 15"?

not fake but maybe a proto? or a mockup, just to show the functionality not the product? i mean, look at that "virtual" cancel button, is not even centered to the bat or aligned to the rest of the keys, is not very "apple style".
