I love it!
I love Apple's high quality and superb reliability, but I just can't wait to here all of the Type-C horror stories... it's gonna be awesome! USB3 & TB2 here for 3 years, good luck with Type-C+TB3... it's gonna be awesome, it's gonna be awesome, 100 times hehe...but seriously? -> Soldered SSD anyone? and Gen 1 freezes, hey once a month is too much...I got two 2015s - 1 month not one freeze, that's a fact ain't holding nothing back...

WRONG WERE ARU AND WHAT U DRINKING? :)

Leffe… :)
Luckily, I could find myself a Hoegaarden in South Korea.

Rumoured, based on the specs from wikipedia:
- 2015 launch
- Chips will use the 14 nm process node. Expect some decent battery life
- Support for DDR4 memory
- Support for PCIe 4.0

I also think that this will be the model where dGPUs and Apple will part ways in notebooks. I don't think we'll see a dedicated GPU, even as a BTO option.

What are your thoughts?

Our legendary topic starter!

This has been possible for years, so yes.
Not really sure what you mean ... That's the first time a TB3 connexion is available, which is what would be necessary for some kind of decent output (2160p, max settings and recent games). And I'm not aware of everything but the Razer Core is the first enclosure actually commercialised that I've heard about.

Still hesitating on what to take :

1) 15 iGPU
2) 15 dGPU
3) 13 "upgraded"

Above order of most probable choice at this time, please help me take the decision !! :)

context :
- Not a gamer at all (except some chess and backgammon sometimes)
- some photo and video editing (planning on more)
- some 3D design tools (sketchup, rhino3d)
- some graphic stuff with mathematica
- tends to open tons of browser tabs ...
