Benchmark shows that it handles games on high in full hd, thats good I thinkIt cannot provide even though it uses a lot more W and is not as thin as rMBP. Benchmarks above have proven this.

So uhm then ask for a bigger rMBP AND big-ass dGPU. You cannot have the latter without the former. There are 1000 dilars laptop with 960m and they dont throthle in games but yes they are much bigger
Predecessors of Iris Pro 580 do that too. So what?Benchmark shows that it handles games on high in full hd, thats good I thinkit throtles only in furmark and prime
Yes I know this but this is question is 85w is good choice and why they didnt update erlier macbook pro 15 with skylake and iris 530 if macbook isnt for gamesI am sorry, but you are missing completely the point. MBP power supply is 85W. Dell XPS 15 to power all of his components needs 130W PSU. That is 45W more than MBP.

Hello? Because it consumes same 45W but has lower performance? Because Apple has used top-tier Intel CPUs for several years and there is nothing wrong with it except the fact Intel ****ed up release schedule?Yes I know this but this is question is 85w is good choice and why they didnt update erlier macbook pro 15 with skylake and iris 530 if macbook isnt for games
Apple does not specify the usage of a computer. It can be good for games, it can be good for creating content, it can be good for number of other things. Thats up to you how you will use it. Apple cares about the impact on environment their computer has, about your experience of it, and about the money you pay for it.Ye

LOL :d do you have good expirience with m370x radeon? And one qutoe from notebookcheck "The M370X actually manages an advantage of 34% over the GT 750M in 3DMark Fire Strike, which is the best simulation of the demands of current games. A GeForce GTX 950M or GTX 960M, which are in a similar TDP range of 50 up to 60 watts" so they use m370x with simillar tdp to 960m but they can't use 960m because of 85W limitation. So buy 2000$ laptop and pay for th3 enclosure and dGPU. Good idea, also very mobiledGPU will become not too necessary once TB3 egpu docks come out
Notebookcheck has good information source so power consumption of 960m can't be much higher than m370x.Well, I am sorry, but the problem is only with your logic. If we can assume that the information on ntbchck is correct, than XPS should not have problem handling GTX960M on 85W power supply. It is not the case. Macbook Pro 15 inch with Radeon uses up to 91W of power. That is higher than power supply of MBP is capable.
How come, if the data is correct on notebookcheck, Dell cannot handle it with 85W, with much more efficient, according to some people CPU, and the same power envelope of the GPU, and to do all this it need 30W more? Will you explain to me that?

And how can I argue with that...?Notebookcheck has good information source so power consumption of 960m can't be much higher than m370x.
Ok, let's play the quoting game "Unfortunately, the MacBook Pro is affected by a very annoying problem, which results in frame rate drops during prolonged gaming sessions: The Radeon GPU cannot maintain its core clock of 800 MHz. The clock often fluctuates between 675 and 725 MHz, but occasionally drops to 400 MHz. The resulting stutters are very annoying, particularly when you play shooting games, and seem to be caused by thermal throttling when the core temperature reaches around 74 °C (~165 °F)."LOL :d do you have good expirience with m370x radeon? Color options tooFor the love of my feet. Just give me a:
I think those are all reasonable expectations.
- 15 inch Retina display
- Just a wee bit thinner case
- Smaller bezels
- Iris Pro 580 (I don't care about a dGPU when I can use..)
- 2-4 Thunderbolt 3 ports (<- eGPU plug and play)
- New keyboard
- And maybe a USB-C/Thunderbolt 3 solution with MagSafe feature (ala the magnet comes apart at the cord instead of the head
Oh, and do something about your crappy AppleCare warranty for Macs. AppleCare Plus for iOS devices and the Apple Watch is so much better, it even covers two accidental incidences (at a premium).
Apple will skip Skylake!
I think it's more likely apple will update the MacBook Pro in March and October rather than in June. The last time they announced a MacBook Pro in June was 2012. I except any design changes to be minmal, including keyboard and screen bezel.
Even if there were TB3 eGPUs available in the near future, Apple sure as hell isn't going to support them in OS X. You'll probably need to BootCamp. For the love of my feet. Just give me a:
