Got up at 05, was at work at 06. Been doing pretty much this:

The reason I hope its later we see the updated mbp 15+ is cause Im not financially ready to upgrade now anyway, and also the more time it takes, means the better the specs will be. Not that Im not hoping for a big update, I just thought it would have more leaks before hand leading up to the event, so I think all in all Ill say there wont be any updates later today regarding the 15" MBP..

What he is talking about is not a 13" MacBook Pro, but 13" MacBook. I fell into his loop, but now it's all clear.

So this also explains my earlier posts, which is a totally a misunderstanding. Now we can say MacBook Pro will get its huge redesign this fall. But still not sure if we'll get a routine update this spring.

If you doubt this landlord (poster)'s authority, you can check his earlier posts, and you"ll come back reposting.

keynote starts at 4am and i have to get up at 6:30 tomorrow but what the F, staying up anyway.
in 12 hours we will be either happy, elated, or extremely angry.

this guy have a valid point, i mean for a 4" iphone and a little redesign with same specs from 12.9" ipad pro, these 2 things and apple watch bands should not take more than 1 hour. so we are left with 1 more hour

I think it means the Macbook is going from 12" to 13." And contrary to what people thought, the Macbook will look more like the MBP, but thinner.

So, didn't people speculate that the MBP redesign (if it ever happens) was going to look more like the Macbook? But now apparently the Macbook is going to look more like the MBP? Hopefully we find out sooner rather than later...

But the word "Air" is also thrown about....

Edit: it also doesn't make much sense to me why they'd make a MacBook look more like a MacBook Pro.... Unless the future MacBook Pro looks more like the current MacBook in which case the new MacBook will share design cues with the future MacBook Pro. ;)

There has been no leaks of a 13" rMB. Whereas the MacBook and iPad Pro were rumored for more than a year.

I'd be very surprised to see it happen today.

iAgree™! Skylake does not offer anything which makes a redesign possible or likely. Kaby Lake offers USB 3.1 Gen 2, which allows a redesign in 2017/2018.
 
There's been no (EDIT:substantial) leak of the watch bands (e.g. NATO style) , iPad Pro 9.7", or the iPhone SE either irc.

Which is in a way comforting for this thread, right?

There will be even better specs in 2019..let's hold on together!
