They should sell to AMD instead because they could still call it AMD (apple mac division). Great point, I know.
I'd go with refresh tomorrow, since I don't think the rMBP really needs a redesign, but of course there many who will want a redesign.
Frankly, I hope that if they do a redesign, they do a 2012 move and do a one last refresh with the current rMBPs with Skylake, then sell it along side the redesigned MBP with Skylake.

Yeah, I don't care if its just a spec bump (with usb c tb/3)
The current design is still better (at least in my opinion) than other laptops out there.
Skylake cpu with 30 min to 1 hour extra battery life is enough to empty out my bank account
I hope they wont update the lineup tomorrow (hardly any evidence they will) but wait till late summer/fall and give us a swivelable screen, 4TB hdd space, 32/64gb ram, 4k displays with 14", 16", 18" options, 2 or 3 regular USB3 inputs, 2 or 3 TB3 inputs, 3d touch built into the whole screen of cause.
Tomorrow refresh would be fine with me. I've just been in the market for a new macbook/laptop since December and haven't been able to justify getting the current WAY too outdated models.

rMBP 13" is on day 378 ......the WWDC is day 462
rMBP 15" has been stuck on haswell for 600 days.....the WWDC would make that 684 days

Dude. All I want is a sliver of information regarding what is going on in the MBP labs @ Apple.
At the 1hr 29min 59sec mark (assuming its a 90min event), Tim Cook could be walking off stage, when they flash a "4th gen MBP in June" slide for 1 second or less. Even a "F*ck it, just keep using your old MBPs, we don't give a sh*t," would be okay, b/c I've got money burning a hole in my pocket regardless.

Definitely a refresh tomorrow (today, here!). If there is no 'redesign' as such and there were no colour options, I will still buy one immediately. Obviously, my preference would be that they offer the anodised colours like the rMB.
A slightly more complex version of the latter. 2560x1600 gets downscaled to something like 1680x1050 (not 2x but getting there) and the 'extra' dpi used for smoothing.
Probably the redesign in June.

However, I intuitively predict that the redesigned MacBook Pro will be announced this year, and will be announced at an 'irregular' event outside of March or June. Im hoping for as early as May but could also be within a Few months proceeding June.
I'll return and quote my post to show everyone when it turns out that I'm right.

With the skylake i5/i7 that should be used for MBA.
With the 12" NMB design.
But with thinner version of MBP square outlook to fit the fan and battery.
Not sure about the color yet.
