Why did they say 2 hours when the event was only one tho?
If we'd known it was only 1, nobody would have any expectations. This is the only thing I'm really disappointed about.

WWDC will introduce new Macs. It's absolutely guaranteed unless Apple wants to kill their Mac lineup.

Anyway... The salt in this thread is real.

What if? What IFFFFFF Apple is making amazing surprise with Intel and will skip Skylake and go straight to Kabylake? :DD

Because by the time Apple releases Skylake, Windows will have Kabylakes :rolleyes::rolleyes::mad::(:(:(

Let's face it.

Apple Computers is now iApple, they don't care about us (PC computers) anymore, and they just want us to buy iphones and ipads to sell us their APPs.

I hate to quote myself, but it fits so well.

This is our hope of seeing a new MBP during the Event.

Also, I've seen a lot really funny posts during this terrific event.
It was so funny being with all of you here.
Now for the next long wait.
The hope for rumors starts again.
Seeya soon guys.

Why did they say 2 hours when the event was only one tho?
If we'd known it was onky 1, nobody would have any expectations.

Truth, I was like "man, theres a whole other hour available for Mac." but then he started rambling on about the apple campus and making me really angry. He should've done one more thing: f**k you guys i'm going home.

This is actually the only time I've been disappointed in an Apple Keynote.

I thought FOR SURE the 12" MacBook would get an update. It didn't even get Rose Gold.

I can't believe they are going to have their entire Mac Line up with no updates for another 2-3 months. This reflects badly on Apple compared to their PC counterparts.

lol if they don't update the macbook in June then I will be waiting for Kaby lake, probably just use some PC during the wait.

It's funny to me because.. iPhone sales have flatlined... iPad sales have steadily declined. Apple watch is a failure and slashing the price pretty much confirmed that.

The only growing division they have is Macs!

Here some music to chill out

(yes, I rickrolled all you)

Seriously talking, this is really crazy.
At this point I really hope in a separated event for the Mac lineup.
There's no way Apple will upgrade all them during the WWDC.
And for those worrying about "no new products until 2017" I want to remember that WWDC take place in San Francisco, not Cupertino.
So there is still hope.

But I have to admit that hear "the iPad is the future of computers" is pure terror...

I'm hoping for an update before June. Macs are often updated silently without an event. Although that would imply no redesign.

Am trying not to be quite as pessimistic but there was a LOT of talk about replacing PCs and it often seemed more PC in the general sense than 'Windows computers' only.

I also can't see them just handing over the entire PC market to Microsoft. OSX is still the only truly comparable alternative to Windows. (Linux and Ubuntu are great but they are still far too niche to truly compete with Windows).

Apple either
1) abandons a hard earned and respectable share of a giant market (desktop/laptop computers)
2) allows other companies to build hardware with OSX
3) Continues as is.

Since it is probably 3 - I suspect when the new generation of Macs is announced we're going to see everything updated. The entire line from Mini to Pro. On the best technology available. It will be a fkn glorious day.

I could actually see Apple being hesitant to release new Macs because they want to make sure they are right on everything - things like connectors, making sure they don't release Skylake weeks before Kaby is released, etc. Maybe a simple comparison but I'm thinking like waiting for BluRay to beat out HDDVD before releasing your next player. Making sure you are on the cutting edge.
