Here is what I want on the Pro:
current models (13' and 15'):
new models mockup (14' and 16'):
whats new:
* same size, but thinner bezels with 14' and 16' screen sizes
* new keyboard with individual key's LEDs and the same travel as the new iMac's Magic Keyboard
* 3 usb 3.1 ports (maybe four?)
* microSD and audio jack still there
* 12hr battery
* 30% thinner body and lighter
* discrete gpu on the 16" model

Yes, make it four for sure, especially if no magsafe and one has to be used for power.
I agree with atimoda's vision, however I hope to see a thinner version of MagSafe be implemented. Also, a 4K screen (or at least a 264 ppi resolution screen - to match the iPad Pro's resolution).

this patent makes me very optimistic about a MagSafe USB-C...

Upscaled maybe? I'd be impressed with Sony if they could get actual gaming, not just improved 4k media streaming and upscaled 1080p content. Their backing is good in general whatever it makes .
Just here to say hi and stand in solidarity with all of you ready to hand over your money to AAPL as soon as they let us! Of course... assuming that 'letting us' means releasing a Skylake MacBook Pro!
There is no April 1'st rumor. There is only people wanting something to happen.
Also seems like they're making the power adapters cleaner, by removing the apple logo- it was useless anyway, just there to collect dust and grime. The new ones use USB-C as well, so I see apple finally moving away from USB 3 to USB C in their accessories as well.
I don't think there is anything to the April 1st rumors. I think I will avoid the thread that day, lest I see 100 posts that say link to new 15" MBP!!!

Maybe because it can be used for both laptop and iPad Pro?
