That article says nothing about a Pro, it just says MacBook. The same guy who leaked the OLED info also said a 13" MacBook was coming before the Pro models.

As much as I want a new MBP, I hope this is true.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't see a 4-port USB-C only computer with no MagSafe as "Pro."

Yeah. Which makes WWDC pretty exciting despite lack of hardware. Usually we know exactly what to expect.

Vague, but this is what 9to5Mac says:

iOS design refresh. More colors. Notifications will change. Tweaks in operating system.
Big enhancements to Photos. System-wide feature like Mail Markup sketches. Snapchat/Skitch-y. More pro editing options in Photos.
Apple Music app. More Spotify-ish. A lot more black. More album art. User interface refresh but not low level. Main menu change.
Siri is going to be a big part of the keynote (used to control music, text, calls, email, etc). On iPhone, Siri SDK will be released. The reason why it is taking so long is privacy concerns. Will apps have to be approved to be part of the SDK?
iMessage to get financial transfers via Apple Pay?
New encryption software?

Doesn't seem any less specific as other years. Software is always easier to keep under wraps.

My guess is the 12 and 13 inch MacBooks will now be what the 11 and 13 inch Airs were. The Air is going to the grave.

I suppose.... but new MacBook Pros would be way more exciting than any software announcements I can imagine

Perhaps, but I simply can't imagine Apple including any USB-A ports. I hope they'll keep MagSafe and the SD card slot, but with this kind of thing Apple usually goes all-in, and I can't see them keeping 'legacy' ports (though I would certainly prefer it if they did).

Could Apple make a 13" MacBook with Core i processors?
That would be an instant buy for me, but I think, considering the MacBook 12 price, that it would be extremely expensive.

Yes, you would then have to decide between more portable or more power. You would probably be paying $1,500+ if they did that. MacBook Pro money.

I agree there won't be a USB-A port, and even though I'd like one, I can understand why. I don't really care about thunderbolt or the SD card slot. I just want a damn HDMI because the classrooms that I teach in have VGA and HDMI hookups. Considering we *just* got the HDMI upgrade, I expect USB-C in maybe 10 years.

I'm just sick of carrying around my dongle that is easy to lose.

Why should Apple release a 12 and a 13 inch Macbook. There is absolutely no difference in screen size. Wouldn't it be better to release a 12 inch and a 14 inch Macbook?
And later this year there could be a 16 inch Macbook.
Just to bring them all in a line and remove the "pro" name but still having the 14 and 16 inch models as pro models.

Just taking a guess I would say a 13" version would still be Core M. I think Apple will keep the MacBooks all about being light and fanless. However, I think they should have just released the MacBook at 13" instead of 12" to begin with. 12" is in 2016 is really small, 13" with the same thinness will be just as portable, unless you're an Ant.

If it's 13.3" it's a good difference. Sit a 12" MacBook next to a 13" Pro.

"Siri, press F5 for me."

I heard the MacBooks were gonna be, 12" and 13.6", and then the macbook pros
[doublepost=1465325335][/doublepost]

parts are actually shipping to Apple...
thats all that means
I know, but other than other people's renders and what may or may not be the chassis....we have had no real confirmed information yet at all

I am probably in the market for a 13" MBP and I am worried Apple might go with 15W instead of 28W, especially since Intel has only announced the appropriate 28W chip but has launched a 15W chip:

Is this actually a possibility?
