Worse in what? Everybody who buys laptop without dgpu don't give sh&*4 about gpu.

Apart from everyone who buys the 13" and wants to be able to drive their Retina display, maybe an external monitor and play the odd light game title whilst not sacrificing portability?

But no, you're right, that's probably no one and they should release inferior products.

Anyone notice the event invite font is in San Francisco, and not in Adobe Myriad like its been all this time before.
Does this mean Apple is replacing it with San Francisco for product and corporate use, which I don't mind as it is more unified.

lol you can play odd light game and display retina display on iris without edram

Man this 9/7 event is going to be awkward. The Mac rumors coming up just a week before suggest that Apple is really concerned about it being the elephant in the room. It's the first incremental iPhone upgrade on a full number change and a marginally better Apple Watch; I was being optimistic, but I can't help but feel that this event will be very disappointing on hardware.
I am just absorbing your negativity.

Intel Kaby Lake announced as the 7th generation Core processor
According to this article, Apple is intentionally skipping Skylake. Of course, I don't know how they came to that conclusion.
I read that article this morning. They came to that conclusion because they made it up. I stopped reading the verge months ago, their quality eroded drastically sometime at the beginning of 2016. It's just Ars Technica and Anadtech for me, sometimes Engadget.

Will the new macbook pro with AMD GPU when connected to freesync monitor 144hz will be able throw stuff at that rate?
I am planning to buy upcoming macbook pro with GPU and a 144hz monitor for gaming purpose. Will it be fine?

Thats not the best idea :D
It's a horrible idea actually.

So torn between getting the rMB + free beats or waiting for a MBP
I don't really care for the beats, but I could probably sell them for like 150€+ so that is that taken off the price.
It seems 99% that there will be a MBP 2016, although hard I can wait october//november, but I cannot wait March 2017.

After Joshua left and nilay took over , the quality has decreased abruptly , nilay is such a joke , I don't know how he got to be in charge

Cook reminds me more of Gates, and less than Jobs. We need someone to drive Apple, not corporate.

Maybe in wardrobe but certainly not computer knowledge. Gates was quite the programmer back in the day.
And a very generous individual with the philanthropic work he's doing today.

100% The MBPs will be available before Christmas.
If you hesitate between a rMB and a Pro, my guess is you don't really need a Pro :)
You can always buy it before the 5th (to get your Beats) and turn it back after the Keynote.

Why?

Personally I couldn't care less about the event - just that they release something as quickly as possibly.
THANK. YOU. You're literally part of the only 0.5% who says that phrase correctly. "I couldn't care less". FINALLY. Freakin' everyone else says "I could care less"...

IF THEY "COULD CARE LESS" then that means they currently have some degree of care, and that it is POSSIBLE to care less. SO THEY CARE RIGHT NOW.

"And does anyone know how quickly Apple have upgraded the processor before after a release?

Apple sometimes updated MBPs after 4 months. If you look at the release dates, there are a lot of October release dates and February/March release dates. So there could be Skylake MBPs in October 2016, and depending on Intel, Kaby Lake MBPs in March 2017.

That would piss so many people off.
