So if you're someone who's holding out and you have a 4 or 4S, just go with the 5 and you won't be disappointed.
Not sure you can really speak for everyone on that matter -- especially with no experience with the 5s.

I would take a 5 over 5C any day. I hate the color choices. Removing black as an option was a very brilliant choice on there part....now you have to pay a minimum of $100 more to get a black iPhone.

Yes, it's looks absurd in the hands of anyone over 13. No black was a huge mistake. If I wanted a phone made by Playskool, I would have went to Walmart in the toy section.

Sales people must love the OP, goes in for the latest phone, they sell him last years model and make him feel he got the best of the deal.

PT Barnum comes to mind....

Did I ever say I got the best deal? No

Plus they had none in stock and I needed a phone regardless. I'm perfectly fine with the 5, I'm not going to cry like a little baby cause I didn't get the 5S.

The 5 runs a lot faster then my 4S ever did, so I suppose that makes me a happy customer regardless.

Honestly after getting iOS 7 on my 4S I'm completely satisfied. I toyed with the idea of getting a 5S but until a water proof case is made for it I'm not all that interested.

OP. Had you not sold your 4S would you just held onto it until a 5S with the specs you wanted was available? The answer to that question will determine if you are really happy with your 5 decision.

I wish the 5C was a 100 - 150 cheaper then it is off contract. I'd pick one up ASAP if so and just wait for a water proof case to be made.

Yes, if I hadn't sold my phone already I would have just waited for the 5S. But either way I'm completely happy with my phone, it runs smooth. The camera takes much better and faster pictures and it's much more responsive.

Granted, my 4S was also 2 1/2 years old so it was probably a little sluggish anyways but I'm happy either way.

iPhones last 2-3 years. It is fine not to upgrade to the latest iPhone. They are well made devices. Phones should at least run smoothly for the duration of a 2 year contract; better if they last a year or two more.

And that's the beauty of having the NEXT program, if I want after 12 months I can upgrade my phone to the next one and get whatever Apple comes out with next.

I can't complain about that.

I would love a 5s or even a 5c but that may not be in my price range. I may have to get a 5 which is no problem at all. The reason? I have an iPhone 4! To put it simply a 5 will blow it away! A 5s will just turn it over steal its lunch money and give it a wedgie before burning off into the distance, all before it's registered my pass code lock...

Gonna give it a month or two if I can wait that long...my contract ended 3rd sept, I've never left it so long to upgrade!
