Walmart Receives iPhone 4s, Apple Confirms Early iPhone 4 Deliveries on June 23rd

Wonder if those holding a reservation at an Apple Store will also get to take part in the revised launch date of 6/23? 
Nor does mine. I'm assuming it won't be here 'till the 24th, that's fine by me anyway as it's what I've been expecting.
Yup just got an email 23rd delivery...
I got an email from AT&T saying mine will be delivered 'on or around 2010.'
Well, take it for what it's worth, but this is my Fedex tracking information, ordered from AT&T, showing a June 23rd delivery...
I ordered via AT&T Premier. Yesterday my tracking number showed as invalid. Today it is working and shows an EDD of June 23rd at 3pm. Hopefully it is true!
Same here.
I'm wondering if the delivery on the 23 is half a goof and half to spread out the activation load on the servers to make the 24 a bit smoother.

I got my June 23rd delivery confirmation from Apple at 2:39am this morning.
It was one hell of a shock when I read it.

To all those who also have invalid tracking numbers from AT&T, I think that:
1. It's pointless to provide tracking if it doesn't actually start working until the day you're supposed to get the package (someone previously mentioned that their # last year only started working the day they received their phone)
2. There haven't been any confirmation emails from AT&T that the phone will arrive on 6/24, so I think it might not.. My guess is AT&T orders have lower priority or something along those lines. Until I have some kind of confirmation of a 6/24 delivery, I don't really want to be disappointed by thinking it is guaranteed to come on 6/24.

During Steve's keynote, there is a complete networking meltdown.
During pre-orders, Apple and AT&T's servers implode with all of the traffic.

I was hoping this might happen to do what so many have alluded to: alleviate the stress on the activation servers.
If that is the case then kudos to you Apple for taking the bull by the horns!
I was seriously going to wait until 2am thursday night/Friday morning to activate mine because of all the traffic that's going to occur... Not any more!

3 people just posted in quick succession that their AT&T orders are expected to come 6/23... What is this "AT&T Premier"? I think my order is just normal (whatever that means), and my tracking # still doesn't work yet. I'll check later today to see if it updates at all.

Unfortunatley, I took Thursday off, not Wednesday
I'm in the same boat, I can switch days, but worried if it doesn't come on Wednesday...
But the email clearly states "Although Apple and FedEx tracking information may currently indicate a later date, you can check the FedEx website the morning of the June 23rd to track your package to your doorstep."

I got the June 23 email too! My Apple shipping confirmation email stated delivery by June 24 while my FedEx tracking page always said June 23rd by 10:30am.
My shipment is by International Priority direct distribution which I do think makes a difference. (Others were reporting an International Economy and those appear to be arriving on the 24th by 4:30pm).
Seems Apple shipped a few of us a bit early. I wonder why. I'd speculate it's to cut down on activation drag. They found out having everyone activate their new phone all on one day would be a non-starter and decided to split the shipment. My theory, anyway.
I ordered around 4pm Eastern on the 15th after trying all day so it's not like I was an early bird.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the previous device? I was running an iPhone 2G.
Will be tracking this baby "all the way to my doorstep" and scooping it up on the 23rd.

I feel like both Apple and AT&T were talking about activation problems especially during the pre-order fiasco... so maybe since Apple is sending them in early, maybe AT&T will too? I'm just hoping hehe
