Wonder if those holding a reservation at an Apple Store will also get to take part in the revised launch date of 6/23?
My guess is 'no' seeing how Apple emailed the 'reserve' people telling them they can pick it up 7:00am on Thurs. I would be annoyed because for me it was a coin toss order/reserve.....chose order.

I'm happy for everyone who will get theirs delivered tomorrow as opposed to Thursday. It just sucks (for me) because if the order page had listed in-home on the 23rd or pick-up in the store on the 24th, I would have gone with delivery rather than pick up. Blerg.
Or you could, you know, not accept delivery until the 24th, as originally expected... They won't leave packages without authorization (and definitely won't leave them if you leave a note saying not to).
I'm only 15 minutes away from where mine shows right now, but I think we'll be waiting until tomorrow, and if that email from apple is incorrect then the 24th. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow because I dropped my 3G two weeks ago, and the screen shattered, so I really need this new one!
The email does acknowledge that your tracking info may indicate a later delivery date and that, despite this, it will deliver on the 23. I'm leaning towards believeing it, if nothing just because I'll get mine a day early!
Even if they did start selling them early (which they probably won't), are you just going there tonight to ask about it/wait in line until tomorrow, or do you think they will have them today?
My AT&T says I'm getting it through USPS not FEDEX. The site just says "received billing info". Also I still don't have a charge on my bank account yet.

if they don't 'keep' my phone in my Apple store till the 'close of business' on the 23rd as promised in my reservation confirmation — my plan is to show up at 8.30 p.m. and get the phone before 9 p.m., their closing time.Does anyone know if walmart will carry protectors for the iphone 4, could be a place to grab it a day before since most are open at midnight
Was gona say, someone mentioned this on the first page actually, but pretty clever of Apple.
The only jailbreak available for the OFFICIAL iOS 4 is for the 3G and Ipod 2G. There is no jailbreak currently available for the 3GS or the 4G.
There was a jailbreak available for the leaked "GM" version that was suppose to be the final release but as the checksums show, the "GM" is different than the one released yesterday.

Yeah! I got the same message and receive mine tomorrow morning too.
Maybe there is a handling fee Apple chose not to pay this time to have FedEx maintain the stock at their distribution points instead of completing shipment. I wouldn't want the liability of storing several hundred thousand easily stolen iPhones. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to recognize their packaging and origin.
