WalMart doesn't exist where I live. They tried, but were run out of town before they could even set foot here.

I'm jealous. That really should be the reaction everywhere.

If you let them in, they nuke your town (particularly if it's small, where they then put everything out of business and impoverish the entire area)

You could always use your phone. Just with their app.

I use scan and go at Walmart, I'm missing out on that "drama" I feel cheated 🥲

Good to know - I don't have the app - the closest Walmart to me is 30 minutes away without traffic (and there's always traffic); only go a few times a year when visiting my wife's mom. But literally every time I pull out my phone and try to use Apple Pay.

Watch next time I go, I'll forget they've changed, finally remember they "don't accept Apple Pay," and pull out a credit card 🤣

Better late than never. I grocery shop primarily at Aldi, but Walmart does have a few things I need from time to time, so this is good news.

My go-to grocers for "foods" with bio-engineered ingredients.

Jennifer Bailey can retire with a massive win. Walmart was the last holdout in the retail space.

Would love to hear if there are any obscure retail locations globally that still don’t take Apple Pay.

I wonder what made them change their mind? Everyone assumed that Walmart loved cherished that data they were getting from people’s credit cards 💳 and now with Apple 🍎 Pay that will of course be irrelevant and customers card info will be Private.
Maybe they're hoovering up enough data from Vizio to make up for it 🙂

It will now accept tap to pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay because of Walmart’s strong drop in the stock market recently in USA in order to satisfy their customers and workers.

Corporate rule does not work.

So, in USA, expect tap to pay to be turned on for their card readers in all Walmart stores and Sam's Club stores in November when it starts doing Christmas sales.

Apple Pay is also launching in India in October, the month she is retiring.

Walmart and India were easily the top two "Apple Pay when?" things online.
