I do not believe the 38mm is too small. I have cancelled my 42mm order.

Honestly, this watch will either get a band exchange or go back. There is NO way this band is worth $200. Premium? I think not. It feels and looks like cardboard. Also, I don't get enough notifications to justify owning it.

I use a Nike+ GPS watch with foot pod for running, so other than heart rate, I see no justification for this purchase.

Ordered May 5th 1:35 PM. Preparing To Ship May 6th...

Initial email at 1:35 PM May 5th: "Delivers: May 22 - May 29 by Standard Shipping"

A couple of hours later "Your Orders" page changed to: "Delivers: May 14 - May 21 by Standard Shipping"

Early this morning changed from Processing Items to Preparing for Shipment, still shows Delivers: May 14 - May 21 by Standard Shipping.

Looks like this one might be here in time for Mother's Day.

I haven't tried on a 42, but I do have slim wrists. I am a guy who had his AWsport on 4/24, returned it on 4/27 to the Apple Store and decided he wanted the SS, because I like the concept of the watch a lot.

Here is how the 38 fit my wrists (5'11-162lbs)

Just got the 38MM Classic buckle yesterday, and I'm having seconds thoughts thinking the 42 would be a better fit? On the plus side, it came fast! Ordered last Friday, arrived yesterday afternoon.

I had thoughts of a 38mm due to my impatience but it would look like a starburst on my wrist. I was surprised on the size of the 42mm I had to ask when I tried them on if it was a 38
 
Well, it was fun for the one day I owned it. I was working a contract job and it ended today, so I can't justify keeping a $700 watch. :(

I finish school in 4 weeks, so if I can find a permanent job, I'll consider respurchasing it at that point.

I'm bringing it back to the store as I haven't had great luck with eBay as of late (silver Sport with blue band-$540, SG Sport with black band-$520).
 
I just picked it up...I need opinions on how the 38mm it fits my wrist? too small?

Been watching this thread for a few days so I decided to order the 38mm SS BCB on Monday night and got shipping info at lunch! Arrives Friday!

As a guy, who posted my earlier shots with my (former) white 38 sport, I don't get the male insecurity with this size?

I ordered a 38 SS ML - so happy - as I love the 38 size.

If a watch doesn't look like an oversized pizza on your wrist, it doesn't look good?

I don't get it.
 
Loving the watch...probably be spending the whole evening playing with it.

Thanks for all the opinions...couple of hours into it and I'm actually liking the size, probably even more when I recover from my ankle injury and start working out.
 
So for those who have a JUNE range, no date.....Would you give up and just order a 38mm *if it worked for you* and get it within 2-4 weeks? I think I just made it into the "june" dates...I ordered very early am on 5/1 (42mm Sport Green) I am **GUESSING** that I am toward the END of June...
 
I have a 42 SS BSB ordered, but went to the Apple store today to see if I could fall in love with the 38mm SS Classic...thoughts?
