It's really personal preference. If we're talking formal (ie black leather strap), the 38 looks awesome on your wrist. Big watches are a relatively recent thing.

Agreed.

The specialist and I discussed how the 38 is more of a "daily" wear watch, and the 42 is more of the "smart" watch.

Not sure what I would prefer, as this is going to (eventually if one of them ever gets delivered) be my first smartwatch.

Wow

Ordered the 38mm SS CB yesterday around lunch (1:00pm EST). Woke up in the middle of the night and my card had been authorized and the watch was preparing for shipment. It's crazy that it is moving so much faster. Meanwhile, my 42 mm SS BSB is still processing. However, I know I was late to the game ordering that 7:37am EST 4/10.

Hopefully I get the 42mm soon so I can wear them both and make a decision on the size.

Ordered on the 4th, got it yesterday.

Thank you OP! Picked it up at the UPS facility last night and returned my sport.

The Stainless model is worth every penny

38SS SS BCB seems to have the shortest delivery window at the moment at 1-2 weeks.

OR 1 day.. lol

The staff at the Apple Store were shocked to hear that I got my watch 2 days later.

Why would the 42 be more of a smartwatch than the 38? Just because of the screensize? I don't really find the 42 to be more functional, just more bulky (which some people like).

Ordered last night at 11:24pm and was charged at 12:15 this afternoon! Hopefully I will see it change to ready for shipment in time to see it tomorrow.

EDIT:
And within the time it took me to find this thread and post it has prepared for shipment!

Ordered a few days ago, shipped yesterday, just got an email right now:

We've incorrectly sorted the package at our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay.

Womp.

Did it by chance come out of Ontario, California? Same thing happened to me and several others a few days ago.

I have ordered and canceled about 5 times. On the fence and off the fence.

I was decided on a 42MM but clicked the 38MM for the heck of it. Option to cancel was immediately gone. So one way or another I am trying out a 38MM.

I have measure my wrist 57 times and get from 190-195 MM.. 60 MM wide

On some the 42's look too big...

Anyone else is that 190-195 with one of these?

Mine is out for delivery by the end of the day. Not a big deal to me since I'm at work until 9. I pre signed and left it on my door. Hopefully I have a watch when I get home!

Here ya go!

Mine is on same schedule as yours. Ordered last night around 9:30. Was charged today around noon and is preparing for shipment. Think we will receive it tomorrow???

I was hopeful at first...but I can only refresh so many times and be shown the same status before I go NUTS!

Fingers crossed for sure!
