Sorry for the confusion, was half asleep. No, the 38 SS BSB. 12 hour turn around, just got the shipment notification 10 minutes ago. My original sport order was still processing when I cancelled it.

Blew my mind. Sure, I'm ending up spending $200 more than I'd planned, but I'll have it tomorrow as opposed to "May 21- June4"

Wise decision. I am much happier with the SS than the Sport. I like the Sport, but not at that price point.
I like the sapphire screen and the fact that the charger is metal instead of plastic. It all seems more durable.
 
Are any 42mm watches shipping before July? Don't really care about the band. Would prefer Stainless, but at this point not going to be picky. I have a 38mm Sport and it's just too small for me, and I'm having some regrets about my black stainless order after seeing it in person.

Hi guys, I had absolutely no intention of getting an Apple Watch until I saw that I might be able to get one within a week. Then the instant gratification weakness kicked in and I ordered it after reading this thread. It was ordered at 3AM this morning (Couldn't sleep). It still says processing I spoke with Apple this morning and they said it was scheduled to ship from Pennsylvania so I am hoping it will ship today or tomorrow. You think that seems likely?
 
Anyone have any luck ordering a 38mm SS BCB late in the game? I ordered one on 5/8, around 6:45pm EST and within an hour had my card charged. Now four days later, the order is still processing.

If my card was charged, I'm thinking PFS must be imminent. Do you think it's worth putting in an order for the 38mm SS BSB at this point?

While I haven't, a few posts up somebody said they ordered yesterday and today it shipped. So I am hoping so because I ordered mine very early this morning but it is still processing. I am hopeful though!
 
Took a gamble and ordered the 38mm SS WSB on 5/11 at about 9am central time and was charged at about 11pm. Today (5/12) I received a shipping notification stating my watch will be here tomorrow :) I'm beyond happy since I stayed up to preorder my watch on 4/10 and waited an entire month with no watch in sight.

So i received my 38mm ss sport band. First thing.. Too small, barely got band around my wrist.. I didn't see the large band for about 15 minutes .. You know came home was excited etc. Has to have dinner .

Found the band swapped it in seconds. It looks like a nice watch on my wrist not a small monitor. I think and my wife both think it looks good. Very happy. I am not small man 6'4 250. No I didn't measure my wrist :). But if you want a watch looking watch with all the functionality. I am cancelling my 42mm now and sticking with this. Until 2nd gen at least

How tight is the fit ? Can you wear it looser? I am larger man too not quit as tall as you. I ordered the 38mm also and just curious if the large band is large enough.

I am wearing it snug by choice. it is very comfortable. I am on the 3rd hole from the end. So thee is room to breathe.

I ordered one Sunday and am still processing. Like you, I'm considering canceling that and ordering either a WSB or BSB.
 
After ready through these I'm really debating on canceling my 42mm SGS and ordering a 38mm. I'm 6'5 315 would it look like a starburst on my wrist should I wait out the 42?? Help me out guys and gals.
 
Well, here's another guy who couldn't wait for his 42mm and ordered this 38mm and is happy. I'm so glad I stumbled on this thread because I love this stainless steel look and the dressy lookin' leather band. So much so that I cancelled my order for the 42mm Sport. I have 165mm wrists and it looks like a normal watch. And I didn't think I'd like the bling but I can't stop admiring the dazzling stainless steel and knowing that my screen will never scratch is just freakin' awesome.

And one note about the leather band. I've seen a few comments about it feeling "cheap". I think that is in reference to the fact that it's fairly stiff when you first get it out of the box. Like a new pair of shoes. After a week, mine is softening up and looking awesome. In fact, it's one of the reasons I decided to cancel the order for the 42mm Sport. I really like this leather band now that it's getting broken in and comfy.

I cancelled my 42mm Green sport band that said "June" shipment. I ordered that on 5/1....I think later that day it went to July if you ordered one. Mine always said June. I got the 38mm Black sports band now. Ships 3-5 weeks. I have a range...I will take the smaller watch and my wrist is around 190mm

You mean - change from the one you want to one that's less popular and/or you don't really want and it ships quickly. Kind of defeats the point. Thanks for letting people know though - may be useful to some.
