Want to see WWDC 2000 keynote

I left my ibook to download that big keynote speech (the 800mb -ish one) and when I got back it says the size is now over 1 Gig! why!???!??
and second, and more importantly, it will not play!I try and play it under quicktime and i got a message saying 'its a file quicktime does not understand' and the same in real player! how can i get this 2 play?

The download has probably been corrupted...

It should play in Quicktime, but you could try to see if it plays in VLC or MPlayer.

this one - It's a 588MB Quicktime video, which I think doesn't actually stream, merely a download. Therefore I recommend option clicking this link to download.

Yes bit of an exageration from me, but that one file his now exactly 1.05 gigs on my 30gig hard disk - so i jsut want to watch and then delete it.

The VLC (or VCL cant remember) application did not work it gave me error - 'MP4: mp4 plugin discarded (no moov box)'

???

The same thing happened to me too, I'm guessing because I stopped and resumed a few times. The only solution I found was to redownload the entire keynote.

I just re - downloaded the speech and it works fine - just started watchin - over 2 hours long wow!

So, anything new yet? I assume iGary will be hosting? Keep us posted.

I got the three 1999 ones posted here and the 2000 Keynote. The 1999 ones aren't the greatest quality ones, but still fun to watch.

I assume I'm waiting for more like everybody else?
 
Hehe... I like the Q&A session from the Xserve introduction. The smarmy guy with the whiny voice who asks about drive bay holders and gets a straight unapologetic answer. And the Unix guru looking guy who asks about Apple's previous server efforts and Steve says they were "a dream when Apple was in a coma"

I'm waiting for further details from GeeYouEye, who seems to have the hosting, but I'm waiting on how I should get the files to the server. PM me back if you can sir, and I'll get cracking when I can.

If there's anyone else with 1.79GB of webspace along with a lot of bandwidth to serve hungry Mac geeks (we're going to be looking at at least 20GB, likely more) then get in touch. Especially if you can give me direct FTP access to the destination folder on the server.

I have the 1984 investor meeting.
After I fastforward through all the "blah blah blah, dividends, yada yada" stuff, you get to this really hilarious montage of people using apples.

It's not super-interesting, but it'll keep you awake to watch.

Yo.. we still need to keep this fresh :)

I am working to find anything Apple related that I have on my collection, and am searching the web..
