coming from the SE, my camera will be much better and the screen alone is worth the price of admission. Sure I use a Mac for work, but this is my everyday ipad/computer. I plan on keeping it at least 2 years.
Haha, this post was semi-evil with a hint of envy. But dont we do that with any smartphone we buy so you can say the same for the $50 dollar Blu phone. Hush......![]()
I edited my post, but repost for people subscribed already:
Edit:
This came of as unintentionally negative. My main point is to enjoy life and enjoy the whole experience we have been going through, from the rumors, the reveal, the pre-ordering, and now the waiting and anticipation. All of it is part of the "event". It's what makes Apple reveals special. If you just want to walk into a store and buy a phone with no fanfare, go get a Samsung...
I hear this a lot, about the iPhone being a "Status Symbol", but I don't buy it. I can see designer purses, fancy cars and designer watches as status symbols, but not an iPhone. Especially when everyone and their grandma and buy one.People buy this for status symbol. I mean what do you use a Rolex watch for? Functionality wise, it tells time, something that a $20 digital watch can do as well (or even better).
The same reason people buy the latest Galaxy S/Note phones, running apps that a $100-$200 Android phone can as well.
This is exactly the quote I had in mind when I read the OP's first post!Spock: Stonn, she is yours. After a time, you may find that having is not so pleasing a thing after all as wanting. It is not logical, but it is often true.
Kelly's HerosThis is exactly the quote I had in mind when I read the OP's first post!
And another reference came to mind reading it. "Always with the negative waves Moriarty"
Know what movie that's from?
We have a winnerKelly's Heros
Odd Ball aka Donald Sutherland
You nailed it. Buying a new shiny thing is like a drug that wears off just after the return period ends.

Enjoy the waiting period. By tomorrow night you'll realize you paid over $1000 just to check Facebook and Instagram exactly the same way you're doing today (myself included).
