Three things:

1. Why 1980?

2. How is this relevant to anything, especially this thread?

3. "I haven't believed in Santa Claus since 1980."

1. Because it was in 1980 that I discovered he wasn't for real ....

2. If you can believe an iPad could bends by itself, you can still believe in Santa Claus :D

3. Next time I'm looking for an English grammar lesson, I will surely contact you.
English it's not my language, if you wish we can switch to Italian or German and try again.
Btw I stand corrected .... by someone coming from Texas :eek::eek:

What does being in Texas have to do with anything?

You may not have dropped it, but you most likely sat on it or somehow put weight on it.

I've never really heard of an iPad just deciding to bend itself after a month.

^^^THIS^^^

Little doubt that someone sat on it.

I find it hard to believe, too!

i have no reason to lie! if i want to lie, i would lie to applestore, not here! I wanted to let you know, ipad mini has a problem, it's vulnerable to be bent! and yes, i couldn't believe what i saw! because i have dropped it multiple times from a my hand while i was walking, and nothing ever happened, but this time it fell down from a 10 inch height and it bent!
it screen is not wrapped or broken and it works well

Oh, well that gives you credibility

my first mini got replaced because of a slight bend I only noticed after a pretty big drop in an otterbox defender. I told them and they replaced it anyway.

Warped ipad

I noticed that my ipad was warping when it didn't sit on the table flat WHILE in it's Otter Box Defender. I took the ipad out of the Defender and gradually while sitting still it flattened out. I have dropped it in the Defender case and I'm wondering if the falls tweaked the Defender. Plausible theory?

Just a thought but how hard is it to get these devices ion and out of an Otterbox. If enough pressure is applied in just the right way . . . . .

If no magic is involved nothing will bend by itself. Never.

In the case of a milled aluminum body there is no tension inside the metal (aluminum generally is to soft to build up tension during production).
Any force from the inside as a warped Battery would cause would simply push out the screen. More likely it goes 'right through' the screen.

Bending patterns as shown are easily reduced to external application of force from the back towards the screen. You will notice that every magical bend idevice is bend in that direction. If your smart enough or willing to 'read a few pages' you can calculate the force that is needed to bend these devices and I know that the engineers at apple did this multiple times before this body went into production.

But please keep on posting your bent iPads. It's nice to see what they can bare before the die.
