Let's hope the car concept will be more serviceable with replacement parts, so there won't be a replacement car at all.

Just buy the Sony headphones. Cheap feel, better sound.

I know this post is over 3 y/o, but not true. I went to an Apple Store and asked about new ear cups. Apple ordered me new ones and when they arrived, they took my old, nasty ear cups and gave me the new ones free of charge!

The article is about servicing the headphones not their earcups. Sounds like had the cups serviced and not the rest.
