since the sensor is 47% larger, it should make a big jump in terms of low light capabilities or something, however it doesn't. It sounds more dramatic than it actually is, just imo.
That’s from the 11 pro not the 12 pro.

Seriously? ;)

def see the detail difference from the Pro and Pro Max. the camera stabilization and battery life wouldn’t matter to the average user which is why a great amount of customers are preferring the 12 mini over the other 12 lineups. size really is playing a major factor this year with the new lineup.

12 Pro and 11 Pro have the same size sensor, just different lenses.
True tho. 12 Pro Max is still a very great phone, just wanting to see if there is a much of a difference when low light.
Happy to see there is not, as I just got a 12 Pro this year :p

Please write who the reviewer is under or by each one for those who do not show their face.

it saves a lot of time for us when having to hit play and then rolling of eyes when you see who is presenting it and then having to quickly close the video then listen to their waffle.

I think I am getting some sort of "tired tech" virus into my system. There are so many unboxing and reviews videos these late months, that I feel I am loosing interest . Once you see 1-2 -3 videos the rest of them seems to be irrelevant (not that they are) . Yeap I think I need to see a doctor 😁.. Ignore me.

Mkbhd says the pro max camera doesn’t seem any better, great now that’s a downer
First i watched MKBHD review and i was disappointed. But after watching The Verge review by Nilay Patel, I can see the difference between 12 Pro and 12 PM cameras. You should watch that video for batter camera compression.

Low light will be the most impacted by the max camera. Anything else is pointless.. it’s mainly going to help that.

Yeah I’ve noticed mkbhd doesn’t always give the right info

Yeah, difference is there. But not that match when apple promoted said 47% larger sensor. I wish there is a much bigger difference tbh. But still a very great phone.

Say what you will, but I‘d much rather listen to iJustine and the Verge than mkbhd.

His videos have dropped in quality and he became overly critical of Apple, probably due to the peer pressure of the nerds in the comments.

I’m surprised not many are talking about the mini. I guess it’s a niche audience. I pre-ordered the Mini and the reviews are implying it’s “hard to get through a day” on the battery life of the mini. I really hope this isn’t the case, and if so, that it’ll be easy to move to the standard 12.

I’m coming from an iPhone X. I’m sure I’m alone here but I wish the standard 12 kept the same 5.8” screen but with the square edges. That’d be the perfect size for me. The 6.1” I think is just too much, but as a business owner I will move to it because battery is seriously important. Here’s also to hoping for a small MagSafe battery pack

What did you feel he was missing? It was a big claim but he went out and took example photos, even comparing to the mini and the examples really weren’t that different. I felt his Mini video was right on the point. He made a big claim battery was an issue and backed it up with the battery stats

Thanks for the recommendation. Understanding that all phone cameras these days are pretty good quality, they did a good job showing the difference between the flagships. Maybe you have to have one of those multi phone rigs in order to get a good side by side these days :)

Because he just talks about the things a person would with little time actually going into detail. He used only a few photo examples. Verge at least went into big detail. MKBHD simply doesn’t do that anymore.

Here's hoping the Mini will take off, and Apple will finally simplify their lineup:

iPhone - 3 sizes.
iPhone Pro - 3 sizes.
Wanna save money? Buy last year's model.

I'm a small-ish guy and want the Mini, but I want the best camera. Would be nice to not have to decide between a small (aka comfortable for me) phone and a telephoto lens, which I use for half the photos I take.

Battery life is so so subjective - my nephew and I have an X - mine comfortably makes every day, his doesnt and he's not a total phone addict. I would be surprised when I move up (down? ) to the mini this changes for me very much.

I find the X a little too big for me to use one handed so the mini is ideal and I even have big big piano player hands :)

Am I the only one that finds the YouTube review where EMKWAN is humble bragging yet flaunting his wealth by photographing his Rolex Submariner a bit off putting? I know a $1,000 phone is a luxury too but come on 😂.

Better off getting last year's Pro Max new with a hefty discount.

Who even needs the latest phones anymore? It's all about consumer lust and retail therapy. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
