I have 60% and it won't install even though it says it only needs 50%. Maybe this is a bug 1.01 will fix.:D

EDIT: Read wrong, it is 50% AND charger.

Hmm, Apple's backend system must be getting hammered cause it's telling me it'll take 5 hours to download (and I've got a 100Mbps connection).

I wonder if that indicates anything about the number of devices in circulation. Obviously iPhone updates are often larger, and relevant devices more numerous (unless Apple has delivered a lot more watches than anybody realises), so I would be surprised if it did. Still, one wonders.

It has to be above 50% and charging. Presumably the former requirement is a backup in case the user removes the device from charge while the update is in progress.

Did the update....no problems.
Is the screen timeout a couple of seconds longer, or am I just imagining things?

You're not the only person to observe this, though mine doesn't seem to have changed. Hopefully it will be user definable in 1.0.2

Not that I noticed. However, I have seen that going from the app screen to the watch screen is faster like JFazYankees said above. I've only used Siri a few times since I've had the watch (about a week now) but it always worked for me.

Before the update, Dark Sky would not load at all on the watch and now it does. yay! So that's good!

So you did notice a difference in a third party app. You sort of contradicted yourself in the post.

Tip for those that haven't downloaded the update yet: change your iPhone settings so that your iPhone doesn't go to sleep/lock while the update is taking place. Otherwise, the update will pause when the iPhone goes to sleep.

Additional observation, while not lightning fast, my USAA app now works. Prior to this update, it didn't work at all.

Has anyone gotten the fly Delta app to work? I was hoping this update would however my fly Delta app still does not load.

No problem installing.

Unexpected upside, more waitresses and waiters know what it is now.

Dumb question, but have you opened the app on your iPhone first, and given it whatever permissions it has asked for? The couple of apps that wouldn't open for me were ones I had newly downloaded and never opened on my iPhone before. Once I had done that they worked fine.

Yes certainly done that. Even booked flights with iPhone app.

Thanks, another issue is that it says it'll resume when connected to wifi even though it's already connected to a wifi network.

The text size in the notifications drop down menu has been fixed.

Before when I selected a certain size text in the settings....the notification text size wouldn't change.

So glad it's working now!

Has this made the haptic feedback stronger so you can actually feel it when not sat at a desk?
It might just be my imagination but the Tweetbot Twitter app I use triggered an alert that felt like a bee stinging my wrist - an exaggeration but it did surprise me. Again, maybe my imagination and maybe only that app but it definitely felt more noticeable.

Probably dumb questions but have you,

A) turned the haptic all the way up

B) turned on prominent haptic

C) wear the watch snug enough

If you've done all of these I would.

A) say you may need a replacement because of defect

B) should see a Doctor about no feeling in your wrist

It's going to be a little tricky to tell if some of the improvements are from the update or simply because the watch was restarted.

BTW that thread in the news section is painful to read with all of the trolling. Makes me appreciate the comparatively receptive audience here.
