So you did notice a difference in a third party app. You sort of contradicted yourself in the post.
It might just be my imagination but the Tweetbot Twitter app I use triggered an alert that felt like a bee stinging my wrist - an exaggeration but it did surprise me. Again, maybe my imagination and maybe only that app but it definitely felt more noticeable.
It's going to be a little tricky to tell if some of the improvements are from the update or simply because the watch was restarted.
BTW that thread in the news section is painful to read with all of the trolling. Makes me appreciate the comparatively receptive audience here.![]()
Downloaded and installed.
Seems to have fixed 'Hey Siri' for me - from ~25% success to no failures so far.
I had zero failures with "Hey Siri" the first time. i.e. if I raise my wrist, screen comes on, and then I say "Hey Siri" it worked I'd say 99% of the time. It was just that AFTER the screen had been on, or AFTER I had just asked Siri something and the screen was still on, I'd usually have to end up tilting my wrist away and then back toward me to turn the screen off/on to have it work again.
Has this made the haptic feedback stronger so you can actually feel it when not sat at a desk?
I'm afraid not , at least I can't feel a difference ... For messages I tried it out a few times . Even when I set repeat alerts to 5 or 10 , I only get two taps.
i can now access all the days on my calendar.
How? I can't? :-(
pull up the day and it list the entire day now, then swipe right or left
Holy cow, I didn't realize that was there. Thanks!
That's a nice addition. However, I still wish you could just tap on a day in a given month and then bring up that particular day. Perhaps Apple's software engineers fear that people can't consistently touch a day that small on the screen.
The "repeat alerts" option is for how many times you want the watch to re-notify you if you don't interact with the message. So if you don't answer the first time, after a little while it will re-tap you (and in your case, it will do that 5 or 10 times).
I was afraid of that ! I was really hoping it was different as there are different settings in the watch app on the phone and the actual iPhone app . Thank you for setting me straight![]()
I still prefer the list view. Do a force touch on the calendar screen and pick list. See if you prefer that (I do, by a mile).

What is the difference between the Today view and the List view? They seem the same to me, am I missing something? (Switching using force touch on Calendar app).
Very happy with the update. Even the stock apps seem to load faster. Example, settings used to always load the icons before the text labels. Now it all comes on at once. Loading times for 3rd party apps seems to have been cut in half for me. Granted, that means there's still loading times but they usually are only 2 or 3 full revolutions of the spinner.
