You can't set a particular glance as a default, but you can set it to resume last activity on screen raise. So if you were last looking at your music controls, when you raise your wrist your music controls will be there. But if you were looking at something else, you can't default it to always look at a specific glance or app except the watch face.

That's what I mean. Resume last activity. Thanks.
Edit: to be clear, the current OS has a "resume last activity" feature but it doesn't seem to work with glances.

From what I understand from others' reviews, Dark Sky weather app is really great on the phone and watch, even on Watch 1.0.1. With fall and our rainy season coming up (...hopefully that is, I'm in Calif and we need it), it's one app that I'll be downloading soon. You might want to check it out so you get a weather alert for where you are.

I, too, read the reviews about Dark Sky. For what it's worth, I have not been overall satisfied with it's predictions. For me, it's only been maybe 25% accurate and I am also in CA.I think the idea is good, but several times, I have received notifications about certain weather occurring within xx amount of minutes, for it not to occur at all.
Your milage may vary.....

I sent Apple feedback about doing a music watch face where the background of the watch face is the album cover of the song that is playing and the complications could control the track. If it makes it into 2.1 or whatever you heard it here first!

That just has to become reality. It's a no brainer, come on Apple.

I would also kill for an actionable complication for any watch face which shows you the title of the playing track and then you can just choose to go to the next one or back.

I would be excited if I hadn't already of had it for a week. Im interested to see what the majority think about the small changes. Really looking forward to native apps though!

#1 for me is improved workflow with Siri.

The ability to just say "Hey Siri, tell Amanda I'm on my way home" and then be able to just put my hand down and let it automatically send is going to be HUGE over the current workflow of:

1. Say it
2. Wait forever for it to recognize what's up
3. Wait for it to start the Messages app
4. Press Send

The update seems to be down. So it looks like Apple may be getting it ready to launch. Of course it will still probably be the usual 1PM Eastern time before it drops, but at least we can see it is imminent.

What time (excuse the pun!) can we expect the update to appear?

5-6pm in the UK.

Can't wait, Content Blocker is the one thing I'm looking forward to the most.

watchOS 2 update is cool too, both my iPhone and AW are going to get a bit better tonight.

Personally I can't wait as I think watchOS2 is what Apple originally intended for the watch but it wasn't ready and they didn't want to delay the rollout of the watch any further.

Definitely with a lot of rumors about it not lasting all day, having a less resource hungry/less demanding OS was playing it safe to be sure.

I don't know if the latest OS2 is better/worse on the watch in terms of battery life, I don't have the beta but I'm ok with what I have now for battery life. Only time will tell.

Even if you had the beta it would be hard to tell until 3ed part apps available. This is still an unknown and likely some apps will be worse (or better) on battery life than others.

No doubt, I see an impact on my battery life when I start up the exercise app and run 10 miles. It seriously depletes the battery - it will last all day still but its closer to the 20% then 40%. I can see other exercise apps being even more resource hungry

Yeah, I do that when mowing the lawn (music) and then set it back to the watch face when I'm done.
