I, too, read the reviews about Dark Sky. For what it's worth, I have not been overall satisfied with it's predictions. For me, it's only been maybe 25% accurate and I am also in CA.I think the idea is good, but several times, I have received notifications about certain weather occurring within xx amount of minutes, for it not to occur at all.
Your milage may vary.....

yahoo weather has started giving those "100% chance of rain in the next 15 min" notifications.... i think one time we got a couple sprinkles.... the other times: nothing! and i don't recall getting a notice at all yesterday! haha!

From what I understand from others' reviews, Dark Sky weather app is really great on the phone and watch, even on Watch 1.0.1. With fall and our rainy season coming up (...hopefully that is, I'm in Calif and we need it), it's one app that I'll be downloading soon. You might want to check it out so you get a weather alert for where you are.

If you're one of the lucky few it works for. I've never had a reliable alert from Dark Sky.

When will dedicated apps start showing up? Already have watchOS 2, looking for some new apps.

Sorry but was talking OS9 improvements for Safari

Thanks for correcting me again.
It was not a correction, it was a question. ;) I don't think you can slip ads into an app on the :apple:Watch but not 100% sure and if happening wanted to see what they look like.

Ooops Sorry.

First ad I see on my watch and I am back to FitBit! LOL!

Thanks but I am looking forward to the ad blocking feature in Safari. Ads have become so pushy, I like to see them stop!

OT: I rarely use Safari on my iPhone (sounded by Macs and PC at work and home) so I'm not even familiar with the kind of ads the new blockers are for. Are they ads in the web content or are they popup nag screens?

Like you I use Safari little on my 6+ but my iPad, using Safari, can have all kinds of ads crawling over the screen. Hard to hit the little X but sometimes even if you do, it activates the ad. It will generally make things faster as less time will be needed to generate each screen with no/less ads. The ad people are freaking.

Little sad as was really looking forward to watch update more then the phone... Oh well.. Hopefully only be week or so delay.

Excitement all gone... iOS9 was a means to installing Watch OS2 and not much more..
Understand why and I'd rather wait but even so the irrational and impatient in me wants it ASAP!

I can wait another week, hardly any apple watch updates have been updated for iOS 9 anyway

And native apps are th biggest part OS 2

I'd wondered whether these were being held until the release had gone out.
Half the time on release day a slew of app updates appear showing support for the new OS.

I'm excited but cautious, as long as any new features are reasonably tested for usability. We don't want another Shift key UI fail + alarm problems from a few years ago. I just want my phone to work. That Shift key is well documented, even to the point of having a little game about it: http://www.copyio.com/shift-key-game/
