You are the first person I have seen that even made it into any date in April for a watch with link bracelet.
Just noticed the link bracelet is ordered separately.

as he said, he didn't get the watch with link bracelet. he's talking about the bracelet only.

which, again, is why i will stress that this thread is confusing mainly because the title is vague.

are we discussing the watch with link bracelet, or the link bracelet only? i have seen several reports of people who ordered ONLY the link bracelet (with a DIFFERENT watch, or without one) getting April 29 - May 12 dates, which is a bit irrelevant to those who are trying to discuss the shipping dates of the watch WITH link bracelet - and NOBODY, as far as I have seen here or elsewhere, has reported an estimated ship date of the watch with link (either SS or Black SS) before May 13-27, nor seen any movement in terms of status change or credit card charge...
 
This thread should only be about the Apple Watch with stainless steel link bracelet. However the shipping times that were noted from the beginning were 4 to 6 weeks. Employee store included that went up a couple minutes before 12:01 PST. The leaked stores and every international store had the same ship date from the beginning. No one has a 4/24 ship date which makes me hopeful that watches might ship for Friday. However us employees don't even know.

Yah me too! I ordered mine at 12:03 sitting at 4-6 weeks currently.

confused here - how does that give you hope that they might ship for Friday?? seems very unlikely if the "4 to 6 weeks" timeframe has been that way everywhere in the world since before the presale launched...

How is it unlikely? It's exactly what happened in every single country, even when the German store leaked days before it even launched that specific model showed an elongated ship date.

It's like when certain macs launch, some aren't available day one, you have 38 different SKUs being mass produced, there's going to be some models that won't be produced till orders are pushed through. Edition models were May when the store went up, Links were 4-6 weeks along with most leather loops and modern buckles.

These are the facts.
 
lol ok guys to clarify. I believe the thread is for those who have ordered a silver 42mm SS watch with a link bracelet as a combined configuration and to date, it seems that anyone who has pre-ordered this config within the first 20 mins of the Apple Store opening on the 10th April has no shipping date earlier than the 12th May in the UK and Europe and the 13th may in the US.

My 8.02am order still says processing.
 
My 42mm SS with Link Bracelet order has said 4 to 6 weeks since the 08:02:20 (UTC) confirmation email, but I was still charged the full amount for it some time earlier this morning. There is no way on this earth they will be taking the money now if it ain't coming in the very near future.

That's how much it is in the UK. Still showing as processing on the store but that isn't unusual.

if that is accurate, you are the FIRST report of anyone with a 42mm SS Watch with Link Bracelet that has been charged.

has your status on the Apple Store been updated to Preparing Shipment, or still on Processing?

also, where are you located?
EDITED: i see above - wow, very interested indeed. i am honestly not expecting ANYTHING before May 13th so that's quite intriguing... my order time was less than 2 minutes later and am in the US.
 
Like I mentioned in the post I made previously, I'm in the United Kingdom and the order is still showing as processing even though the money has been withdrawn from my account.

42mm SS with Link Bracelet ordered with confirmation email at 3:01a EST with no change in status or charge.

My SS Space Black Link Bracelet order went in just 25 seconds after yours with the confirmation email at 08:02:45, but still no charge to my credit card and my order is still sitting at processing. Delivery for 12th May - 26th May.

The title of the post isn't clear, wasn't sure if this was for just the link bracelet or for the bracelet/watch combo.

Well it is a couple of days till the watches are released so why not believe them. I've had the money taken out of my account and I had a 4 to 6 week wait according to the confirmation email I got.

I think the black ones are even rarer than the SS version. I like them but I'm scared stiff that they will show up scratches really badly when the black starts coming off.

It's not a black paint that will come off or scratch easily. It's a diamond like carbon coating (google it) which is very hard wearing.:cool:
