Still not happy about how this all went down but I am excited to have it coming. Now I just hope it isn't like some of the others with "lost shipment issues"

Not at all, Ken.
I just know that I got griped at for getting my order sooner and since I'm not, I figured the least I could do was offer the cranky folks something to feel giddy about.
Thank you for your well wishes. We shall see what Apple can do, given the difficulty that UPS has created with their doctored records of shipment.

Doesn't this bring a sense of relief and smile at the end.. but I can't deny or ignore that this episode has left a bad after taste for me with Apple !! This was even worst that stand in those long queues on launch .. !! and that's my opinion .. you agree or you don't .. !!

Now have a UPS tracking number, not in the UPS system yet. Standard shipping. Hoping for a 5/13 delivery.

I agree. I was in line for the 3GS, dealt with the 3 hours of crashes and order failures for the iPhone 4 and with delays for the iPad 2... this is by far the worst. Went from delivery on the 24th, to oh by the way just for a few models, to "we are delivering watches early" (again, just a few models but making it sound like it is all). Wish they were up front with it. Nonetheless, I'm happy it's coming tomorrow.
Was an XX:05 order that was charged at 2:15 PM EDT; HOWEVER...the charge was declined by my bank. Spent two hours on the phone with them trying to get it fixed (Fifth Third identified the Apple Pay purchase as a fraudulent purchase and blocked it, then they couldn't find out how to prevent it from being blocked again) and ended up calling Apple where they billed my card directly. Purchase went through, still in "Processing" though.
