Seems like everyone ordered the 42. Any fellow 38 people out there?
Just a quick little press release or something would be nice just confirming they are delayed. The mysteriousnes about it is what I think is driving everyone nuts about it
Location: Maryland -- April, 10th 2015 @ 3:06 am invoice for 42 mm Stainless Steel with stainless link band placed and still no progress.
I must say this is frustrating to wake up at 3am to pre order something that isn't available and to only get a 4-6 weeks waiting time anyways.
True, it is Apple.
I told the wife I should of ordered the 42 SS with white sport band cause I seen several of those with shipping confirmations on EBay. I should of ordered the SS link band as an extra ...
Ugh..Hopefully, people will start replying with shipping confirmations for our watches.
Also what's the deal with the 5 locations selling them in stores around the world? I don't live in NY or London or China, I hate to say this but Samsung is looking like a better/caring brand.

Press conference. No. Not sure where you got thatThere's no delay. All link bracelets had a 4-6 week delivery at the start of preorders and everyone in this thread purchased it knowing this. Yet you want a press conference?

I agree. I know the product is facing shortage and is complex with all the models but I miss the traditional launch line ups, I always thought it was one of the more exciting aspects of launch days! I hope this isn't a sign of things to come!
Yes there is no delay in the original estimate but clearly they are referring to the fact that it would be nice to know why the most expensive models aren't even available after what I would assume is months of prep.
Sorry, typo. Press release.
Companies do this all the time. Giving an official word on something is never a bad move
We already have official word on the link bracelet. It has a 4-6 week delivery and we knew that at the start of preorder.
You're asking more because you're seeing that some people are getting the other models today.
Like I said earlier we should of ordered the 42 SS Model but with a crappy band. Then ordered the SS LINK band later this year

Apple pre order = Shady/Greedy SOB's
I love apple products but this whole ordeal of "made to order" so they can cut production and overhead cost down to a bare minimum and charge us full retail is bordering the worst greed I've seen in a long time.
It's the truth and anyone who thinks other needs to open their eyes.
As a business isn't it their main objective to make money. Don't get me wrong I want my watch, but they are in business to make money. Cutting down on inventory and making products to order will deffinately accomplish that. As a share holder I'm proud of this. Apples supply chain has been soo much more effective since Tim Cook has been around. While I may not be getting my watch today the value of their shares is up 50% over the last year. I would say they are doing something right.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but no one person is that important to apple.
Happy to wait my 4-6 to get the superior product.
I ordered 42mm SS link in first few minutes and am in the 12th-26th window. I also ordered a separate sports band. In hindsight should've done it the other way around - would have happily paid the small surplus on ordering the link separately if it meant getting the watch 2-3 weeks earlier.
Will be interesting to see if any of the boutiques carry any stock of the Link model ahead of the online models shipping
I understand I am merely one individual but as a whole community of people pissed and upset it is not only myself who feels a little deceived by the whole pre order process. The "sheep" mentality you have is what ruins the apple name for everyone and people get that type of label. Just call a spade a spade and say Apple is wrong for what they have done and lied to consumers about this whole ordeal.
