But, seriously, I think Apple's going to try to get the backfill cleared so they can stock the stores without having a PR nightmare.

Because, if there's still loads of us waiting and we get an e-mail from Apple saying "Your order is now cancelled, you can buy your watch at the store like everyone else", or not doing that, yet fully stocking the stores, is going to result in worldwide brandishing of pitchforks and torches and marching on the Apple Stores. A very different lining up experience for sure. :)

This is also my theory of why June/July folks haven't been given a date range. As soon as the May deliveries are caught up, the June/July backfill will be milled out, the backorder queue purged and the instore experience can commence.

Yeah I should have worded it " When do you think all preorders made prior to the 4/24 launch date see movement?"

I agree with you as far as having to fill the preorders prior to stocking stores but who knows with this crazy launch.:confused:

I don't blame you for not wanting to search.

I originally ordered a space black at midnight but changed my mind the next day. I ended up canceling and ordering the regular 38mm link on the morning of 4/11. My confirmation came at 9:59AM. My window is 5/14-5/28 and I'm hoping for it sooner, but realistically since I put in my order so late it'll probably come later in that window.

The links are extremely easy to remove. Yeah, the bracelet will need to be split first by pressing the link removal button and pulling it apart. When removing links you'll want to do it evenly, one from each side.

The wait is finally over! Thank you all for the boost of sanity. I'll see you once again once apple car pre-orders start!

Just picked my wife's 38mm SSBL.

Ordered: x8:56 (8:56am Pacific)
Charged: 5/13 @ 1:30AM PDT
Arrived in SoCal this morning.

Still waiting for my 42mm SBSS ordered at x:03 and x:04. I wish you all speedy watch deliveries!

Still waiting for UPS (sort of)

Out of town for work this week and don't get home until tomorrow. But.....

That being said I am still monitoring UPS for when my watch will be delivered to my apartment. Still has not arrived. I can't wait to know it is there safe and sound and will be waiting for me when I get home.

Will post pics once I see the box myself.

Just had a status change! Went from The generic "June" to:
Available to ship: 5-6 weeks
Delivers: 22 Jun, 2015 - 29 Jun, 2015

So I ordered on 4/18 and 5-6 weeks should put it at 5/30 shipping. Why the 6/22-6/29 delivery?

Figured I'd update y'all since I've been MIA for the past couple of days...

I am in a Starbucks in the Loop in Chicago.
I ordered at xx:11 into preorders, xx:12 confirmation email.

Charged and shipped earlier this week, arrived at my house on 5/13, the first day of my delivery window.

I am about to board a train (hour or so) to meet my wife somewhere else where we have a wedding to attend. My lovely bride packed my :apple: Watch 42mm SS w/ LB into her bag so I could have it tonight rather than when I got home from the wedding. AND.... Without asking her, she grabbed my black sports band from the house as well before she took off for the wedding with out 7 month old Daughter.

LOVE!

Looking forward to enjoying my watch in another 5 hours or so :)
