Which watch face are you most likely to choose?

Don't be startled if you hear Mickey singing to you in the middle of the night...

Yeah I might need to charge the watch in a different room...

Of course I've been watching a lot of Twilight Zone on netflix so maybe that is it.

Now that most of us have probably made the most difficult Apple Watch decisions (size, case and band), let's have a look at the next, equally challenging choice to make: Which watch face are you currently planning to use?

Are you going more for imagery (Mickey, butterflies or flowers) or for maximum information? Let's use Apple's official list and titles as shown here for reference and get a clearer picture of our preferences! Additional comments are welcome. I decided against including a "not sure yet" option in the poll (I guess that nobody is) - just check your current favorite.

For myself, I am pretty much undecided at the moment. I assume that I would enjoy to have the activity complication visible and like the idea of having the next appointment in plain sight. For the moment, I would probably lean towards Chronograph.

Looking forwards to the results!

You haven't included all the watch faces. The "Extra Large" is definitely missing from your poll. There might be others. As it happens as much as I like some of the other watch faces I may well resort to using the Extra Large one quite a bit as the others will be hard to read without glasses. Whilst at work I'll probably have one of the others depending on my mood as I will have my glasses on.

I like the jellyfish in Motion one, but I hope we will be able to choose only one jellyfish, and not change specie each time I raise my wrist..

i don't believe it changes, because it's one of the setting you get to choose when you select the watch face.

I like it too, but it lacks other info (like weather info). i wish you can deeper customize those faces

I'm really surprised that Apple are not allowing developers to design their own watch faces.. I know there was that stuff about copy right and people ripping off well known watch face designs.

I'd love if the guys at Emerald & Sequoia made some faces for the watch. Their Emerald Watch iOS app is stunning.

This is my favorite but I don't know what it's called. Which one is it?

* iOS safari keeps crashing when I try to embed it

I'm going to switch the face daily until I find the one I like the most. I'm guessing either Mickey, Astronomy or Chronograph.

Can anyone find a photo of the Apple watch where the time is shown digitally with the hour on top and the minute on bottom? I'm sure I've seen it somewhere. Maybe it's the face for power reserve mode?

It looks something like this.

I customized this one based on "Simple" at the Apple Store yesterday. I think it will be my default one for a while once I receive my watch.

I change my wallpaper on my iPhone a few times a week. You can bet I'll be switching watch faces throughout the day. It's so easy!

I suspect that Modular will be my daily driver, for the simple reason that in all of the previews I've seen, it's the only one that gives a robust "next appointment" calendar complication. I'm an educator for a science museum and I live by my teaching appointments - They tell me when/where/who/what I am teaching next. The ability to have this info at a glance without referring to my phone will be invaluable.

That being said, I do love the look of the motion faces, and I love jellyfish! Anytime I go to an aquarium I literally spend hours in front of the jellyfish tanks.

I suspect that I'll be rocking a jellyfish on the weekends. Maybe even the Astronomy face to get myself pumped on days where I'm running a planetarium show on our dome theater.

I will probably switch watch faces quite frequently. My desktop on my Mac changes every 30 minutes. I change my iPad and iPhone background frequently. I don't think the watch will be any different for me.

Went to the store to see the watch yesterday and had incredible fun playing around with the complications. Seemed really bothersome in early demos, but Apple has nailed the usability using the crown.

I was really happy to see that Mickey has quite a few options for extra complications as well, even a wide one along the bottom.

This is my favorite but I don't know what it's called. Which one is it?

Pretty good question, but I assume it's Chronograph.

I love the classic look of the Chronograph, but I also love the Motion ones. I imagine they will change a lot :)
