No, it does not. Still having the issue on my S9.

Shortly after updating to 10.0.2 it worked, sure, but then it quit working again shortly thereafter.
Update: After unpairing/re-pairing my watch it briefly worked for about 45 min but now my weather cities are limited to New York and Cupertino. Weird...

Same here. It worked initially after the update but now it's back to --

Probably been said already, but the bug affected watches earlier than S9. I’m on a S7, and it bugged out on mine. The fix for me was to reset location services.

Anybody have the problem of double tap to side button returning a black screen?

Turning the crown then results in haptic feedback consistent with cards moving and the sidebar appears but it’s all on a black screen.

A force reboot solves the problem temporarily (only for 1 use of Apple Pay or a brief time).

I’m on latest beta but there doesn’t seem to be an update for that (I could install the .0.2 update by switching off beta tho).

Anyhow anybody have the black screen with Apple Pay problem? I’ve got an AW6.

Folks, y’all need to relax. Apple just released the BIGGEST UPDATE to watchOS since the Series 0. This takes the Apple Watch to a whole new level. The new S9 chip is the fastest Apple Watch chip Apple has ever released in an Apple Watch. The new Apple Watches are the fastest, most responsive Apple Watches that Apple has ever released.

Just keep repeating the PR mantras and everything will be alright!

How could Apple have possibly tested their own Weather complication? They have to double-down on secrecy, after all, which means they can’t even know if their OWN software works well!
We are all human and can do mistakes. It's a lot of things to test in modern apps, with different devices.

Update did nothing for my IPhone 15 PM and watch series 9 45mm. As a matter of fact only thing I found that worked is setting City to a set one by using my hometown.

Not using “Current Location”.

This setting worked overnight while charging and both being shut off and turned on and off.

4th watch and never had this

The watchOS 10.0.2 update appears to address a bug with Weather complications, but the issue is only fixed on the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, the two devices that are able to receive the new software.

Multiple reports on the MacRumors forums confirm that watchOS 10.0.2 solves the Weather complication bug, but those who do not have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 or an Apple Watch Series 9 will have to wait for Apple to release another watchOS update.

Apple Watch owners have been complaining of malfunctioning Weather complications since the launch of watchOS 10, with both the initial launch and watchOS 10.0.1 affected. Those impacted are seeing a blank reading where the weather data should be, but tapping into the Weather app shows the expected information.

Some users have been able to fix the issue by opening up the Watch app on iPhone, toggling the 24-Hour Time switch in the Clock app Settings, and waiting a few seconds before toggling it back to the original position. Others have had luck turning off Location Services on the iPhone temporarily and then toggling it back on after a short waiting period.

These solutions have not worked for all users, however, so there may be no fix for everyone affected until another version of watchOS comes out.

Update 7:00 p.m.: A number of users who initially saw the complication working properly after updating to watchOS 10.0.2 are once again seeing broken Weather complications, suggesting any fix after the update was temporary at best.

I found a fix!
  1. On your iPhone, open the Settings app, then tap General > Transfer or Reset iPhone.
  2. Tap Reset > Reset Location & Privacy.
  3. If prompted, enter your passcode and reset.
This will fix the problem with Find My Friends and the weather complication not appearing right in WatchOS 10. The only caveat is all your apps will prompt you once again for permission to track your location when as you launch them.

Has anyone else seen their battery life become abysmal since .2? I've have a U2 and it's horrible now.

My Apple Watch Ultra 2 doesn’t know where I am. The weather complication STILL keeps toggling off/on. Now it thinks I am in the North Pacific versus North of Jacksonville, FL .

Mine has no idea where I am too and I am down in Boca Raton. I am still getting NYC as my "home"
