Doesn't "double tap" mean to shoot twice in rapid succession?
And MB specifically said in the video Apple sent him an Ultra with 10.1 beta on it so he could use that function 🙃Marques Brownlee is the most well-known Tech YouTuber for over a decade and you are just casually referring to him as "some influencer." Alrighty then
I've been sleeping with it since I got it in January and it's been fine. The AWUltra looks so cool....on other people. I can't imagine wearing that behemoth. I also like to sleep with my watch on and I've heard it's a bit uncomfortable due to it's size and weight.
Is there a new watch-to-phone tap feature I’m not aware of? 🤣I've been sleeping with it since I got it in January and it's been fine.
Well aside from the fact Ive smacked my phone with it a few times and put some scratches on the screen and now screen protector 🥲
I completely agree. Also, Siri+Health is coming later this year just like the flagship feature Double Tap.I do find it odd that this seems like the “highlight” feature, yet it’s not available at launch.
I've been wearing it for almost a year, sleep with it every night & have no issue with it!The AWUltra looks so cool....on other people. I can't imagine wearing that behemoth. I also like to sleep with my watch on and I've heard it's a bit uncomfortable due to it's size and weight.
Thats still no excuse.
What? It isn’t even available at launch?!
More likely, because this feature was present before in Accessibility Settings AFAIK, but it has been perfected for Apple Vision and brought back to the Watch.Guys! Let's put 2 and 2 together! This feature is primarily for the Apple Vision Pro Headset which does not really launch until 2024! It will be able to detect a double tap when your hands are outside of its camera's range!
This can be easily enabled in the AWUltra 1st gen.
Doesn't everyone know by now that this is already possible on Gen 8 Apple Watch??

It's really not, at all. I noticed it was larger than my earlier Apple Watch for about 5 minutes, then never again. The AWUltra looks so cool....on other people. I can't imagine wearing that behemoth. I also like to sleep with my watch on and I've heard it's a bit uncomfortable due to it's size and weight.
And S7, and S6. Not sure about S5, but its not a new feature and I'm unsure why they keep touting it as one.Doesn't everyone know by now that this is already possible on Gen 8 Apple Watch??
You get used to it and then suddenly you forget you're wearing it. I love mine. The AWUltra looks so cool....on other people. I can't imagine wearing that behemoth. I also like to sleep with my watch on and I've heard it's a bit uncomfortable due to it's size and weight.
It's pathetic on the AW Ultra. I don't know how Apple could provide such rubbish under an "accessibility" heading. This can be easily enabled in the AWUltra 1st gen.
