cheers!
probably couldn't post it outright, hence the notation that it was in the comments
cheers!
Actually, we are unsure about that. For all we know a PB GM could come out tomorrow. The public beta release is the public release on 16th Sept
If you have not taken part in any of the beta releases and now getting involved with them. I'd suggest just waiting until next week when you won't need to worry about profiles etc and it will all just install over the air.Is this safe to download? Also that link says install on iPhone or watch. If I click iPhone, will that install iOS 9?
Why would they release the Public version twice??Actually, we are unsure about that. For all we know a PB GM could come out tomorrow.
Why would they release the Public version twice??
Because we are the public and that is when it is available to the public.Has anyone removed the profile after updating to the GM? I think I probably will do that because then if the builds change by next Wednesday, my watch will automatically see it. Its rare, but who knows.
Not everyone in the general public is running the PB. So for those that are running the PB, why make them wait a week?
The one thing I noticed was that i had to re-install the last config file for it to see the GM. Once I ran the config file for beta 5 and it created the profile again, it immediately had the update to GM.Totally Confused.
I have 2 developer accounts and neither show a GM of watch OS.
They both still show Beta ... How do I get the GM?
Yeah I'm sitting at 12 hours right now...Download is completely stalled for me, "About 1 day remaining."
Had to hard reset phone and watch and now everything is working perfectly. Just hold down the friends button and crown for a few seconds.Anyone else having problems with the usage screen in the watch app? Mine doesn't show anything and says it can't connect to the watch but they are connected
hey guys when you upgrade to the iOS9 GM, i noticed it requires restoration of the iPhone.
does that mean i have to completely restore the phone, reinstall all apps, etc?
the way iTunes restores from earlier backups is really slow and a huge nuisance as it ALWAYS loses some data.
It doesn't require you to restore.. Option click check for update. Select the file. Done. Just did it on my 3 devices.hey guys when you upgrade to the iOS9 GM, i noticed it requires restoration of the iPhone.

I removed the profile off my iPhone and watch after it installed. I then immediately restarted both devices. So has anyone removed the beta profile after the install?
I was thinking about doing that as well.
