I had the Series 1 before the 3.1 update and it used about 60% per day. My Series 2 came with 3.1 installed and I've been going through about 15% per day from day one, with the watch set up from my Series 1 backup.

Are you saying your S2 Watch with WOS3.1 will last six days before needing a charge? (6 x 15%)

Sounds like it could be based off of user preference and notification settings (app based). My S1 usually goes on the charger at the end of the night 18/hr day, at about 59% and i get 100's of notifications daily. 3.1 has definitely fixed a lot of battery issues.

Thanks, I realize the differences with notifications and the latest WOS. However, this is the first time anyone has claimed 6 days on a single charge. Some have squeezed out 3 days, but nothing more than that has been mentioned.

3 days of usage (morning of day 1 to evening of day 3) is the best I have experienced with my Series 1. That's with my normal usage and everything set to default for the most part.

I would expect it if I turned it off over night during the period it spends on the charger, and disconnected the charger so as to keep the watch there as usual.

Wore my black SS s2 for 14 hours yesterday and it's was still at 86%. More my standard SS s2 for 6 hours on Saturday night and that still showed 94% so that's a drop of 1% an hour for both watches. Seriously impressive.
In the old days on os1.1 my series 0 would finish the day at 50% so that wasn't bad either

Do you do any outdoor activities with the native Workout app in your normal usage?

My AW2 suddenly has had a battery drain issue. Was working great until this weekend. Took it off the charger today at 8 am. Down to 65% at 1:40 pm and haven't even used the thing. Any thoughts?

Is it any better today? Mine has only had bad battery life that one day last week. It's been doing great since then. Not sure how or why it was so horrible.

Yes. Unpaired and reset. 95 Percent after 7 hours. Something was way way off yesterday. Bugs me a little. Hopefully it won't happen again.

I finally saw what happens if you let the battery die completely. You get the funny looking charge cable on the screen and have to let it charge for about a half hour before it will turn back on again. I didn't wear mine for awhile and when I went to wear it it was dead. I didn't even notice right away after putting it on

My Apple Watch Series 2 with the latest software (3.1?) went 61 hours to 5%. I noticed it was dead at 61:58. So somewhere in the 61-62 hour range. I was using it as normal (it was receiving messages all day), but no activities were used. That is a solid 2.5 days.

I am not sure why Apple is not promoting this, as battery life was one of the known weaknesses of the watch and a big reason why I almost didn't get one.
