This is really annoying. I know it’s a beta so I’m not going to rant, but I’m really looking forward to it getting fixed.I still get no vibration or sound for emails. Super annoying!
Can anyone confirm if the Workout app is lagging less now at start? On my S2 (according to google all versions are affected) the Workout app starts fine but it takes 5-15 seconds before you can scroll through the activities.
Apparently this issue was introduced with WatchOS4 and currenty only temporarily fixed witha restart of the AW.
Apple even sent me a new AW as the support is unable to fix it so hoping its solved in version 5.
I had the same delay in watchOS 4, it has been fixed in watchOS 5. No issues starting a workout and no lag at all.
My activity rings on the watch complication aren't updating (show up as empty on watch face), but show up when I click on the complication which takes me to the Activity app on the watch . However, the Activity app data on the watch doesn't appear to be syncing to the Activity app on my iPhone whatsoever. This worked in prior Watch OS 5 betas so seems to be new, at least for me.
Mine weren’t updating until I hard rebooted the watch. Hold both buttons until you see the Apple logo)
I couldn’t get the app to detect beta 5. Tried hard rebooting both phone and watch but still no luck.
One thing that I noticed is the my WatchOS beta profile is no longer listed within the Watch app. It used to be there in beta 2 or 3. It is now shown in the phone’s System, next to the iOS developer profile. Is that normal?

No... I have the watch beta profile on the watch and iOS beta profile on the phone.
Try removing the beta profiles reboot iPhone and watch then install beta profile on each reboot again and try to install the beta.
Thank you. I deleted and installed both iOS and WatchOS profiles. Problem solved.
Also, if it fails again you can try to reset sync data (phone watch app-general-reset-reset sync data) when you click it it seems like it did nothing but it does fix a lot of sync issues (like iMessage contacts coming up as their phone numbers etc) could work with activities rings I suppose.Thank you. What is the version ID for Beta 5, mine is saying no update and it's on 5.0 (16R5322d)?
Mine did the same. Delete the profile and reinstall if you beat 5, but I wouldn’t, it’s terrible.
