View attachment 802892 I’m having this issue. If I’m listening to music on my iPhone my watch shows the song, but when I’m finished, I close the app on the iPhone, yet the watch music app icon shows up. Notice the icon in the top middle of the watch.

And can’t get rid of it unless I reboot the watch. :(
Same here. I thought it was related to 12.1.1 beta that I’m on.

I will admit I haven't read through this whole thread but am I the only one noticing that the rounded corners on the series 4 cut the rounded rectangular OK boxes on the stand reminders in a really weird way? Any chance that is fixed in the beta? (I'm on the regular OS release)

Did you install the update over Bluetooth 5 or from an older iPhone's Bluetooth 4.2? Curious about the speed difference. I know the S4 has Bluetooth 5 but reverts to 4.2 if updating from an old iPhone, though the speedier watch chip helps speed things up too.

AFAIK updates are not done over bluetooth but over WiFi.

My battery seems better, but it could be in my head.
Mine is the opposite.

20hrs standby and down to 25%. Weirdly the usage was 13 ½ hours! Never used that before, and considering in those 20 hours I slept for 6, seems like something is draining the battery fast.

Just done a hard reset and am now charging and will monitor - could just be the beta settling down.

Incorrect, to an extent. http://osxdaily.com/2018/06/25/speed-up-apple-watch-software-update/

The link is a very useful tip to speeding up Watch updates. Wish I’d known this when I had my Series 0. Updates took forever.

Ok, so much better.

22 hrs standby and down to 51%. Usage a more realistic 3 ½ hours. As well as the hard reset I removed the HR complication from the top slot on the infograph face.

S4 44mm btw.

When do we expect this beta to be released as stable? I want my messages complication :D

Yes...so happy Apple added the missing complications to the Infograph faces:

It's not a public beta, it's a developer beta, as all watchOS betas are. There has never been a public beta of watchOS. Install developer beta profiles and watchOS developer betas at your own risk.

Agree with this. As 5.1 showed, these updates cam brick your Watch. Apple would be within its rights not to replace your watch if you install beta outside developer program.
