Since iOS 12.2 setting up atrial fibrillation now works but it's asking to update the watch (it's a Series 3 LTE model).

Does this functionality work now on the S3 with the latest Betas?

thanks

So any idea when 5.2 OS is being released? I'm bit hesitant to install it as ECG might be disabled for regions outside US and Europe. I have a US s4 watch that's ECG is working just fine altho I'm outside USA/Europe. Haven't even updated my iphone to 12.2 either.

Has anyone been able to verify that 802.1x support works properly? I.E. anyone in a corporate or university environment that can get WiFi on the beta, who could not previously?

That's the feature that's holding my wife from replacing her OG.

Likely released in 16 minutes. The ECG functionality so far has been tied to US purchased Series 4 Watches. But, I'd do what you're doing and wait, because they may have found a way to disable US purchased Watches used in countries where it hasn't been approved yet.

The clocks have gone forward in the US already. So it’s 5pm (UK time) for Apple releases now until our clocks go forward at the weekend and things are back to normal

Yesterday’s event started at 5pm UK time rather than 6pm because of this
I thought it was just Europe that did this mongey thing. don’t see bloody point in doing that. So defo no release today then.

It’s not looking likely no. Although I’m pretty sure there have been other occasions when a software release has been later than the usual time so it’s not outside the realms of possibility

Really has to be some time this week as the new AirPods require watchOS 5.2 I believe

[doublepost=1553623368][/doublepost]Defo not today. Probably tomorrow now. Can’t see it being any longer than that.

I'm surprised they haven't released 5.2 considering that people who will receive the new AirPods today can't use them with their Apple Watch until the update becomes available.

I suspect Apple realized a problem with Apple watchOS 5.2 and new AirPods. As I’m running 5.2 and when playing music off watch the AirPods disconnect randomly. This is a major bug and Apple needs to fix it before watchOS 5.2 comes out!
