WatchOS 5.2 is out. Now we wait for watchOS 5.3 beta 1. Maybe 1st of April, with a new TV app.

I've been trying to install it for half an hour now, but first it estimated 7 hours, then it tells me my phone isn't connected to the internet and refuses to do anything.

I guess I'll just try again tomorrow then

How’s performance and battery life compared to 5.1.3? I’m assuming this is a beta 6 release, which is why I’m asking.

I am not on beta and I just got an update. Is downloading now. Your question was quick to ask about battery. Not sure many people have had a chance for it to cycle a charge or two.

I have the same problem. It keeps saying my phone doesn’t connect to Wifi so now I’m getting stuck there.

Updated to 5.2. Charged for awhile and then it just stops. I did a hard reset. Charged for awhile and just stopped. Repeated again and same results. Wtf. -_-

20 minutes and it’s ready in Italy, I updated it 6 hours ago.
I expect a little battery drain until the first battery charge

I just found that at long last iMessages can be deleted from  Watch at the same time as devices :):D

Installed 5.2 yesterday and have to issues:

1.) as soon as I open the watch app on my phone, I see a reminder to activate bluetooth and WiFi. I can then pick either "cancel" or "activate" (eventhough I have both activated anyway).

2.) I have two email accounts set up in the default mail.app and have all emails shown in a combined Inbox. The watch usually showed me this "combined" inbox with no issues.
However, since 5.2 it disapeared and I have to manually switch between my two inboxes which is very annoying to do this on the watch.

Anyone with the same issue?

If that doesn’t work you may need to reset your watch (unpair) and reinstall.

Issue 1.) I have already tried to deactivate all connections with no result. It seems this reminder doesn't do anything at all.
Btw. that's the exact same issue I have (and I am not using a VPN):

https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch/comments/afrwr9/get_connected_dialog_appears_every_time_i_open/

Issue 2.) unfortunately, I don't see the combined mail box, just the two seperate ones. In the watch app on the phone the combined mailbox is activated.

Would unpairing the watch and then re-pairing really change anything since I would Need to set it up from a backup? (I don't wanna lose all the data)

I lost a two year move goal streak by updating to 5.2. I was about 400 cals over my move goal when I updated, then it went 100 below but I didn't notice until I got in bed. Pretty frustrating, but liberating to not worry about it anymore I guess.
