I just found that at long last iMessages can be deleted from  Watch at the same time as devices :):D

Is this a setting you have to enable or does it just happen with the update to 5.2? And what is the behavior now? Is it when you delete the message from your phone it automatically deletes it from your watch? This has been probably my biggest complaint about the watch. I turn on my watch and have a boat load of messages show up that were deleted yesterday from my iPhone and I have to go and delete them all again. So annoying and repetitive. I would love to hear your feedback as I am updating my watch to 5.2 as I type this. Thanks in advance!

It actually just happened , no settings . I don't know if it's due to iOS 12.2 or WatchOS 5.2.
Now when I delete on my phone it also deletes on my watch . I am talking about iMessages , I didn't get regular SMS in awhile . OTOH , it was only the messages I got today that deleted automatically ,I had to delete the previous ones (Those already deleted on the phone) manually .
Feel free to PM me .

I am on 12.2 and 5.2 and just tried this with an iMessage and when I deleted it from my phone it is still showing up on my watch. What a bummer. I was hoping this would work for me too.

I enabled messages in the Cloud and it still didn't work so I am at a loss on what to do. Oh well.

I did and it is still not working

Just a thought : Did you enable two-factor authentification when you toggled on Message in the Cloud ?

Google how to turn on Message in the Cloud . I don't think I'm allowed to post links here ;-)

PS : Try to toggle Message in the Cloud off and on again on devices

Tried all this still not working don’t get it

Issue 1.) I have already tried to deactivate all connections with no result. It seems this reminder doesn't do anything at all.
Btw. that's the exact same issue I have (and I am not using a VPN):

https://www.reddit.com/r/AppleWatch/comments/afrwr9/get_connected_dialog_appears_every_time_i_open/

Issue 2.) unfortunately, I don't see the combined mail box, just the two seperate ones. In the watch app on the phone the combined mailbox is activated.

Would unpairing the watch and then re-pairing really change anything since I would Need to set it up from a backup? (I don't wanna lose all the data)

Could solve both. If anyone is interessted:

Issue 1.) restarted my phone and the message doesn't show up anymore

Issue 2.) apple watch app in the mail app - toggled "conversation" on and the general inbox appeared on the watch. Toggled "conversation" back off and it still shows the general inbox.

anyone else have charging issues?

seems to be taking a lot longer to charge than before.

Charging issue with my S3 after the update. Shows the charging / green lightning symbol on a 3rd party charger but no increase in actual battery % even after 4 hours. But charges perfectly on the apple puck.

I am. My S4 died for the first time ever and now it won’t charge. Not sure what to do.

Had the same issue with my Series 3. Had to trade it in and buy a new one since mine was out of warranty. Warehouse didn’t do ****. They just looked at the battery health and said the watch is fine. New one is on 5.1.1 and not updating. I should’ve been charged the $79 out of warranty replacement fee but they refused to do it.

Old one... 13 months old, was in mint condition. Not a scratch. Battery health was perfect, like new. I had no issues. As soon as it turned on after updating to 5.2, it wouldn’t charge. Had to hard reset it to get it to charge for a few minutes with the percentage only going up by one or not at all. Unpairing and repairing did not work.

This is totally software related even though the store manager I talked to said it’s hardware. I’m like ummmm ok cause it was fine on 5.1.3 and out of nowhere it wouldn’t charge RIGHT AFTER updating. Yep.... totally a hardware issue. Right...... I was pissed but oh well. I have a working watch with apple care plus. $250 later..... -_-‘

Corporate office agreed with the store manager so I tried everything. Just wanted to mention that as well.

Hey all of you. I'm experiencing issues with swiping right and also can't get touch left arrow. The first problem appears only while being in watch faces (swiping left and right works for instance in images app), the second problem appears in settings app. I have these problems from last two betas. Anyone experienced the same issue? Tia

Chaps. Just want to make sure this isn’t just me before I report it, but if my iPhone is turned off, I cannot check for new emails on my watch, even though it’s on WiFi and cellular.

Can anyone please confirm this?

Is it just me or is the Apple Watch running beta (4?) louder? I just asked Siri something and it sounded so much better and louder than normal.

I get the same message with my phone/watch in the same state.

Difficult where to put this because it might be from iOS 12.3 rather than WatchOS 5.2.1 update but I can say for sure that approving additional screentime for the kids can be done straight from the watch now.
