I’ll skip this year as well. Still feel my S4 SS is new and still look at the display and think it looks amazing and it has plenty of power.

The WatchOS 6 GM profile is now in the developer portal, it shows build number as 17R6575 there, but my watch and watch app on iPhone both reflect 17R575.
Series 4 ECG function is supported in india , I was on iOS 13.1 beta 3 when I installed the watchOS 6 GM I noticed the ECG icon in Apple Watch but no setup on the phone so went back to iOS 13 clean install and now I can set it up and did my first ECG and btw the watch was bought in india.
Start the download, wait for the time remaining to pop up, go to settings on your iPhone, turn off Bluetooth. It will download over WiFi. Much faster.
This works, but what a flaw.

iPhone Xs Max running iOS 13.1 Dev Beta 3 and series 4 AW running beta.
Mine took over 3 hours to update my Series 3. I was getting quite nervous, but it all seems okay now.
Tried that and the watch app immediately complained about being unable to connect. It eventually did finish just fine.
Anyone else having a similar issue?
I'm confused as the build number is *575 not *675 and the Meridian watch face isn't available. However my watch continuously says that it's fully up to date. Even after reinstalling the profile.

I see the Meridian watch face available to add on the Watch, but not in the Watch app on my iPhone running iOS 13.1 DB 3.
For some reason some of the new faces are only accessible/customizable directly on the watch. That's how I got the Medridian face to show up.

Just add it using the Watch. Long press on face and go to end and hit the + key and you'll find the Meridian face.
I got this just now. Tried rebooting both my phone and the watch, but no joy.
I wonder why Shortcuts got culled in iOS 13 and watchOS 6 GMs.
thx, worked, but that's odd. even after adding it doesn't show in the phone app to edit there. maybe it will on an actual watch 5. (13.1 dev release on phone and latest watch 6 os beta)

They added the new faces to the iOS 13 GM, but haven't added them to the 13.1 betas yet. They will be in a future beta or in the 13.1 GM. They often don't add new resources like that until the GM.
The Watch backs up as part of the iPhone backup. In addition, when you unpair your old Watch, it forces a new Watch backup to the cloud.
