That's actually good news to me, since that makes me believe that they might have pulled the update, rather than it was me having f-d anything up.![]()

Was that the same notification you got earlier? My extremely poor German tells me that it's about not finding your watch (even though I assume it's close?)?

Yeah, got is working
Just disable wifi on the watch only with control center, start the beta 2 update in the watch app and after that you can enable wifi again
Should work for everyone who has install/download problems
Edit: download is realy slow but nevermind ... it works
Edit 2: disabled wifi on the watch again and download is now faster

Thanks, I'll give it another go tomorrow.Mhm, I did a few things before, you can give it a try:
- removed both profiles (iOS and watchOS)
- shut down iPhone and Apple Watch
- start both devices, install only watchOS profile
Walkie-Talkie is SO much better in watchOS 6. I’d actually consider using it now.
Previously, when you’d open a walkie-talkie chat with someone, you would hold down the button to start talking, and then when you’re done, let go and wait for the app to try and connect to the other person’s watch. You would start a conversation without even knowing if the other user is available.
Now, when you tap on a chat, a “connecting” screen is shown until a connection to the other user is actually established. And their watch makes a beep before you’ve even started talking to let them know you’re connected. Once you’re actually connected, the push to talk button appears and you can talk knowing for sure that it will be received.
In general the UI is also much less annoying and weird too
Battery is terrible on beta 1. Just installed beta 2 so not sure if it has improved yet. Complications missing, colours not working on info graph if you have series 4.How well is WatchOS 6 running for you guys? Is it pretty stable and safe to use as a daily driver? My iPhone is already on iOS 13 Beta 1. Should I update my watch as well? It's currently on WatchOS 5.2.1

Honestly the watch forum is pretty dead I find. Beta 2 out I don’t think I noticed a single comment.
No battery life is terrible on S3 as well with no environmental audio. It’s just your regular beta issues, much exacerbated because of the constrained resources on a tiny battery. Some initial feedback on Beta 2:
Battery life continues to be poor. After 11.5 hours overnight (8pm to 7:30am) battery is down to 49%. As @Ansath points out this could be down to environmental audio. Will disable and repeat this evening.

Same. Or the “50%” warning despite being fully charged.Trying to install beta 2 on my S3 but every time I check for update from watch or phone it just seems to be stuck on "checking for update"
when i have issues like this, restarting the iphone and the watch is what tends to fix it.Same. Or the “50%” warning despite being fully charged.
What a difference a day makes. Repeated the test last night. Over the same period battery life only dropped to 84%. I did disable environmental audio but suspect the main issue was simply bedding in of the new firmware. That said I’ll keep the setting off until the situation improves. It’s a nice feature but a bit of a gimmick for me personallyBattery life continues to be poor. After 11.5 hours overnight (8pm to 7:30am) battery is down to 49%.
