I agree.....they should be coming up with their own letters and numbers instead of copying the current english alphabet and alpha-numeric characters.

How unoriginal!

Seriously? Every banner and brochure is going to be over analyzed like it was some Alien hieroglyphics?

Not interested unless they show some real products and services. Rest is just hype!
Lighten up Francis. It's okay to be excited and speculate.

Like the new "X" logo; however this seriously invites the question on what Apple is planning to do with OS X in terms of strategy. Since, there's no reference to a cat in the banner as in previous years I think it's safe to assume that this OS X will not have a cat name. Maybe this new version will be called OS X 9, last year's decision of re-naming Mac OS X into simply "OS X" I believe it was Apple's way of saying that "OS X" is now a marketing name rather than an actual product name.

We will know for sure on Monday. I just hope that the simplified font means that OS X is being refined a la Snow Leopard :).

I think the top candidates are: Ocelot, Sabertooth, and Lynx.

Lynx I think is least likely just because it sounds too much like Linux.

Hmm...maybe Clouded Leopard too, which might make sense if Apple starts making a serious push with their iCloud services.

This can only mean one thing:

OS-level integration with Google Wave. About time!
