way worse after update

I don't give a crap if they take the bars completely away. What matters to me is that I can use the phone.

Since this update, I have had dropped calls where I didn't before. I also have issues making calls where I had zero problems before.

This is all ignoring the stupid bars.

I did a fresh restore to 4.01

WHY CANT THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BARS

Sadly I wish I could get the 6 min of my life back from reading this. After reading responses from x he should never post here again. He sounds like a whinny 5 year old. Try what the others have suggested, read what the update actually did then rack your tiny brain around the fact that in NO WAY is the hardware affected with the update. Stop posting crap and title your thread better.

If it has nothing to do with the bars then how come 5 bars make a call. Drops to 2 and it drops the call. Or better yet one bar and just says calling.....let go of the phone climbs to 3 bars call goes thru. Hmmm rocket science lol no matter what it's worse than b4'for me also that's why I did not update my new 32gb to 4.0.1 let's see what steve has to say

i did read the thread and saw the op seem to not try the fixes the people have suggested and those are the same 'tips' i would have given.

so again, DO A FULL RESTORE and see if you still have problems. i personally have absolutely no problems with the update. however, i fully restored to 4.0.1 instead of doing just an upgrade. i also set it up as a new phone.
