This whole season was very interesting. I'm not sure what I expected from the finale, but I didn't like that we really have no idea if any of the premises presented worked out. My wife and I were talking about how this show is basically an infinite reboot possibility. They can go in any direction they want and if it turns out bad then just put everyone back in the pods and start over. A new protagonist can be introduced at any time because the writers can bring in any character they want as someone who just hasn't been woken up yet. I don't know that I like this world of unlimited possibilities.
 
Boy was I disappointed with the season finale for season two.

I totally missed the season.

How were they going to make it do anything?

I only cared about Pilcher, his sister, Ethan Burke, and he, he, Luscious Lyon. Other than that, no story.
