Why boycott something that isn't worth buying in the first place? (For 2g touch owners anyway).
As disappointing as it was basically getting nothing, I'm with the guy who said at least we have no reason to give Apple our money! I'm $200 richer!

I already sent in feedback to Apple's iPod touch department, expressing politely my extreme displeasure.
I'm half tempted to go into an Apple store and confuse the employees with my request for GPS, an video camera, and the iPhone OS with WiFi on a non-contract device with a 32GB capacity for $400 or less.

Your going to pay thousands of dollars with the contract. That's slightly pricier than 299.
I already have an iphone 3g and the ipod touch 2g so it wasn't a big deal to me at all. Seriously if your an adult you shouldn't care that much because chances are you have some sort of digital camera.
They are going to loose a lot of upgraders. I was going to upgrade to the 3rd generation. But to get anything new you need to pay 300$ and i don't need 32 GBs. I was only going to upgrade if they added a camera or any other big feature.

I feel like the rest very disapointed about the camera, and no gps being added, but what really pissing me off is now they want $5.00 to upgrade to 3.1, i thought all point upgrade were free? guess that i was mistaken. (I did upgrade to 3.0 for $10, now they want more)
I personally wouldn't own a nano, like music just can't stand earphones.
I hope some one make an camer that will work with 2g, with 3.0 software. Just wonder how many would purchase it if aroung 60 to 80 dollars?

The 3.1 update is free if you already have 3.0 installed. It's $4.95 for anyone who has 2.2.1 and lower.
