iPod touch We need to boycott the new iPod touch

I really don't understand why people set themselves up for these expecatations and when its not met, they cry boycott. I think Apple would be thrilled at NOT taking your money. And I'm the last person on earth to praise Apple.

What makes this so disappointing is that practically every source agreed there would be a camera just as they agreed there would be a 64 gb touch. I feel like apple dropped the ball and they know it. I thinking new ipods when they release tablet and updated macbooks...hopefully

exactly. unless you play a lot of graphic intensive games, the speed bump isn't that big of a deal

Hey Apple, if you're reading this I already have a photo and still camera on my cell phone so don't bother adding one to a primarily music playing device.

I really don't care and I'll never use it.

People should boycott this thread for being the dumbest reason to boycott Apple in their entire history.

Don't worry, Apple has issued a boycott (in effect) on itself more massive than anything a group of gadget aficionados could ever hope to achieve. People will still be buying the damned, though never lovelier, product for the same reasons they did before. There's no question about that. The difference will be that Apples fanbase will deteriorate. Slowly, at first, which will erode Apple's profit and tarnish its reputation.
That is what I would expect to happen if Apple would continue this way. Apple needs a fanbase. Which is why I say: Don't worry.

I'm really glad they didn't include a crappy camera. My employer is funny about unauthorized cameras at work.

I was sweating bullets on this one (re: rumored camera functionality), as today's the day I bought my first ipod. For me, at least.

iPod Touch 32 GB + Grado SR80i cans are on the way

We should have a camera. It is a slap in our face to give the nano one but not the touch.

I had hoped for a camera, but I'll buy the new touch nevertheless. Apple never said they were going to build in a camera so I see no reason to be disappointed.
And the new pricing is really sweet btw.
