Finally editable notes!

At last! Something so basic but so useful for those of us who use notes heavily in their workflow. This is a very welcomed function that should have been there from the beginning.

why is there so much ugliness? what's wrong with apple? why can't notes look like icloud mail, for example...instead of a shoestore chain CEO's desk in 1962?? why can't i change that font? and really, what's up with the leather pocket? how useless is that?

to my surprise, notes is still visible in icloud's mail...for now.

apple needs to give up the 'desktop circa 60's' thing; at least, on my mac, i can get rid of the leather in notes, etc...

I just don't understand Apple. All the icons are consistent between iPod touch, iPhone, iPad, and iCloud but they decided to revamp the icons on iPod nano. It just does not make logical sense. It just really bugs me not understanding why they did it!!!

That's easy. It's because the iPod nano doesn't run iOS. If the icons looked exactly the same the expectation would be that the apps are the same which they're clearly not.

Don't get too upset over it.

They should've launched this the moment ML went out the door. What's the point of having the Notes and Reminders sync without having web-access like most of the other stuff?

Then why did the previous generation iPod nano icons consistent with all the other product lines? All they had to do is use the same icons for this newer model. :(
These icons are beautifully done, the new ones are crap!

yeah icloud.com address not working for me. can't log in with it to the website or send email to it. i have a me.com i'm hoping it will transition over. don't have iOS but i do have mountain lion. fingers crossed

Isn't iCloud.com technically skeuomorphic, transplanting and mimicking the experience from a physical device (iPad) into a scenario which doesn't really need it, purely for the purposes of familiarization?

Since iPad's Calendar and Notes themselves are skeuomorphic, we appear to have skeuomorph-ception.

Good use of skeuomorph. You used is as an adjective and also invented your own ending. Nice

I'm able to log in. I think they'll all transition soon.

Find my iPhone can now show all devices at once, which is quite cool, particularly when my iphone, ipad and work and home computers aren't all in the same place.

Reminders-> Completed have a "Clear All" button. Finally, I can get rid of 20 items at once. I hope iOS6 adds such a button to the iPhone interface, too.

Can someone please explain... why the HECK should I need a @me or @icloud e-mail account to sync Notes?

I already have an Apple ID. I am already setup with iCloud. Why, Apple, Why? I have enough e-mail accounts as it is.

I suppose I should be glad I can use the iCloud Contacts and Calendar apps without it.
